"Lovely home, very nice stay and comfy beds"

"We stayed during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home has everything we needed, quiet and serene and very relaxing! Views of Mt Garfield are stunning with the Colorado Monument directly in front of you and a short ride from the home. Centrally located in Palisades and 15 min drive to Grand Jct. James is very responsive and accommodating with requests and staying in touch. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to experience the winery during our holiday weekend visit. We’re definitely going to be back!!!"

"We had so much fun at Off the Rails! The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked (this coffee-lover was excited about drip coffee, french press, and Nespresso as options!), the decor was adorable! The property is surrounded by Orchards and the yard was amazing. 2 miles to downtown Pali. We were there as seasons were changing, which meant that we had to finagle a little with the heating - in true "WE ARE GREAT HOSTS" FASHION, the owners came over the first night we were there, adjusted a few things and even left us firewood in case we wanted more heat. The bathrooms were newly remodeled...everything was fantastic. Owners were communicative and responsive and I would highly recommend Off the Rails! "

"Repeated visit for us. Host lives on property and waved hello, made visible his accessibility if we needed anything.Unit is indeed fully furnished. Setting is excellent, adjacent to park/bike path, and backs to the river."

"Absolutely gorgeous property inside and out! The place had everything needed inside. We had plenty of space inside and out for our group. Very comfortable, clean, and even quiet for a working farm. The firepit was an added delight! Check in was so simple. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to this area to stay here."

"Everything was spectacular! We were in town for a wedding and the accommodations were perfect for our family of 5 (3 younger kids). The property was beautiful sitting along the Colorado River and felt very private. We ran and walked each morning along the River front walk. The best part was the kids were allowed to collect eggs each day from a chicken coup and we had fresh eggs each morning! The area of Palisade had great food and wine. We also did the Palisade Rim Trail which was fun and beautiful! Thank you for being an excellent host!"

"My favorite place so far! Very comfortable and catered to every household detail. Host was incredible and the location was just beautiful, both inside the home and outside the home. The fresh eggs in the fridge when we arrived still makes me smile. "
