Perfect for friends and family

Location was perfect for us, quiet and peaceful but not far from other wineries and groceries, either. And staying *on* a winery made it even better. The house itself was also great with spacious bedrooms and great living spaces inside and outside.

Fantastic Stay!

A fantastic place to stay to enjoy Palisade. Super clean, comfy, and right on the Carboy Vineyard! We stayed with a group of friends and took advantage of the gorgeous outdoor spaces this place has to offer. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wine weekend

What an amazing property and place to stay! This is our second year staying here and we love it! It is so clean and well stocked with whatever we need for cooking. We were able to cook dinner in each night and of course, have a bottle of wine from Carboy with dinner!! Such a great place to stay and great location!

Great getaway!

We took a short girls trip and stayed at this beautiful house that is literal footsteps from the winery’s tasting room. The property was clean, beds comfy and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Weekend Away

The Carboy property was a beautiful setting for a weekend away. To add to a great home and location, the staff at the winery was so kind and welcoming! We did the Winemakers Tour with James and learned so much while tasting incredible wines. Sunday we started our day with a fantastic yoga session. We will definitely be back.

Wine Country Gem

Great place & great people

Last summer, my friends and I stayed at this property because we appreciate having access to fine wine from the Carboy winery (it’s our favorite winery) and our experience was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and were available to answer any questions we had. We were encouraged to approach them whenever we needed assistance. The home was well maintained and very clean, and I look forward to booking it again for another weekend with friends. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

This property was absolutely incredible. At a great winery, walkable to other wineries, a few minutes from town, and the house itself was amazing. Perfectly clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. There was nothing more we could have asked for, and we look forward to coming back!

Scenic western Colorado and Carboy wines

We loved our stay in the Carboy house. We appreciated the beautiful kitchen and comfortable clean rooms. It was so fun to stay across the driveway from the tasting room and the views of the mesa were amazing in the morning from the deck above the tasting room. We had our coffee there each morning. We hope to come back with our family soon.

We spent a week at this beautiful rental. Everything was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable beds and kitchen was equipped with everything you needed to prepare any meals you decide to make. Restaurants in area were also very good. Location is convenient with lots to do in the Grand Junction area. Host was very helpful and extremely easy to get questions answered and suggestions for things to see and where to eat. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit this area.

A One of Kind Experience

This is perfect home for a short weekend getaway, or an extended 3 week stay like we did this past February. The home has everything you need to make the stay comfortable. It has been modernized and made turnkey in every way, making the stay easy, simple, comfortable and rewarding.James is a terrific host. Very responsive, willing to help, and a great person to talk to about the area. We plan on making an annual trek to Palisade going forward and we definitely hope to be able to return Carboy.

Memorable birthday trip with my besties!

Perfect getaway, incredible experience. Location was perfect and everything we hoped for. The house is steps away from the tasting room. We were able to access the upper deck of the winery with a view of Mt. Garfield and the vineyard after hours. House was well equipped with no shortage of wine glasses! James was an awesome host, offered great suggestions of things to do in town and he shared his knowledge of wine making during the vineyard tour which I highly recommend.

Breathtaking Views

The property was surrounded by amazing views at every turn. The property itself was immaculate and beautiful. The only downside was having virtually no privacy on the property. The pictures in the listing does make it look like there is quite a distance between the main House we stayed at and the winery tasting building where the customers frequently come and go. But I want to express that is likely the only problem for guests who wanted privacy on the outside property. Other than that, the host and house itself were amazing!

We did a girls trip and got lucky to find this place was available. It was honestly the perfect stay. It’s directly on the property of Carboy winery (the best winery in town). The people there are just amazing, the owner was super easy going and helpful. The beds were seriously the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The whole house was so homey and clean, welcoming and very well equipped. I would 100% recommend this to anyone coming for a beautiful stay in Palisade. We will definitely be coming back. Oh, we even had a welcome bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the fridge!!

Outstanding!!

This property is AMAZING!! Not only is it on the vineyard, but the house is perfect! The beds are super comfortable and the house itself is very inviting. There is a great gathering space in the living room with a warm and wonderful fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need! James was great and very helpful in answering any questions we had including great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Palisade itself is a great little town. The house is very close to town (5 minutes away) and close to other wineries and fruit vineyards.

Lovely Ranch with a Hell of a View

Thoroughly enjoyed this ranch home nestled in the vineyards and peach and cherry orchards of Palisade. The home was clean and well appointed. Used the kitchen a lot for many breakfasts and an occasional dinner. Palisade has a nice little downtown area with several local restaurants. It was centrally located for us between Arches and Canyonlands National parks in Utah, and Grand Mesa and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Colorado. Beds were comfy and it has 3 good sized bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms which worked out great for us. House is on a vineyard and winery property which made wine tasting convenient. Highly recommend.
