"We spent a lovely week here in September. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking olive groves and hillsides. Marga was a delight, providing us with tomatoes, peppers and water melon from her garden. She gave us lots of useful info about places to go and see. We enjoyed walking in the valleys, and always found somewhere to swim. Most villages, including Horcajo, have a 'piscina naturale' and we also came across river pools up in the valleys. "We have travelled across Spain and Portugal and this hotel and the town is an absolute gem. Fabulous recently renovated room with superb bed, crisp fresh linen and the best pillows. Superb shower and double basins. Kettle and coffee maker which was an unexpected bonus. Beautiful hotel and lovely garden terrace by the river for drinks outside. Highly recommended!!!"
