"The hotel itself is located along a busy stretch of expressway a couple miles from SJU airport. It’s about a 10 minute walk to a gorgeous beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pedestrian overpass has about 25 steps on each side.. not for someone with mobility issues. The elevator was not working. Parking is very limited. Check in was fast and efficient with pleasant and friendly staff. Room was comfortable though kinda small. Nice bed and large walk in shower. Nice little pool with bar area near by. All in all a thumbs up!"

"It was great, but was supposed to be in king size bed. It seemed like queen size. Blanket and pillows weren’t that good. Besides that great!"

"I traveled with a group of 21 including myself. When we arrived we had to wait til 4 for check-in so we were able to take a look around. The rooms are nice but needing some updating and some furniture items need replacing. The sofabed in my room was stuck out all weekend which ruined me having my group being in my room to celebrate my bday where all my decorations where put up because they dont allow you to decorate inside of the hotel unless you book an event space. The staff was polite and the restaurants were a bit slow with service but the food was good. The free breatfast was tasty and a good start to the day.We loved the happy hour everyday which was a great meeting point before dinner. The biggest complaint anyone had was everyone didnt get the rooms that they booked. We all paid for a oceanview king suite and some of us was watching a rooftop or parking lot from their balconies! There was little to no compensation for the room errors. The beach is accessible through a gate off the pool area which consist of 3 pools and a hot tub. The beach was nice but very rocky going in the water. Overall it was a good stay but with some small improvements it could be a 4 or 5 star hotel!"

"A hotel inside an international airport can come in two flavors. Brilliant… or not. The San Juan is not. Some of the staff try hard to be friendly. Some are outright belligerent. The sixth floor requires a change of elevators. The expensive king-bed room is tiny. No place to lay out your your kit for the morning prep. The restaurant? Surely staff. Beer can be $18 a glass. Food is, at best, bar happy hour snack food. Breakfast is on the Motel-six standard. Filling. No more. We’ve got a 7am international departure, or we would book a different hotel. We will have dinner the night before elsewhere."
