"We enjoyed our stay at Claire‘s very much. The room and the bathroom are spacious, clean and very tastefully decorated, and they come with a little terrace and a beautiful garden. The fantastic location is in the countryside, exceptionally quiet and surrounded by picturesque villages, yet you can reach Dole and Besançon in about 20 and 35 minutes by car. "This was no AC, otherwise is was good"

"A beautiful, quiet place hosted by a lovely older lady, who tells many good stories. Melin feels like the middle of nowhere, and maybe it is, but there are many animals to befriend. The place itself is simple, but cozy, with a heartfire burning in the early morning, when we were welcomed by the host at breakfast. It has a somewhat historical feel in that sense. Time did not touch this place so much. Speaking French is a necessary skill to have here."
