"We had such a wonderful stay at Bahama House. Everyone was so nice and helpful. But Jane at check in is a great employee. She is so nice and helpful. Jane should be employee of the month as she is excellent example of going above board with customer service. Thank you Jane."

"All staff encountered were polite and helpful. The check in process was easy and they were accommodating to our request for an early check in. We enjoyed the pool and the DJ was on point with his music. Having beachside access for a good hotel rate was a nice treat. Overall we had a great stay and would absolutely stay there again. **The food at the restaurant needed seasoning and was overpriced for the taste (or lack of). Fries were great though."

"My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel does not look like the pictures shown online. The property is old and clearly lacks proper maintenance. The paint is worn, and many of the doors show rust and corrosion. In addition, the elevator to the third floor was not working, which was very inconvenient for my family. We rented several rooms, and some of the doors would not close properly. Because of this issue, one of the doors became damaged, and the guests had to spend the entire night with the door open. Overall, the condition of the hotel did not meet the expectations created by the photos. It was a very disappointing experience that negatively affected our family vacation. I would not recommend this hotel"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We appreciated being able to check in early and loved having a view of the ocean and the pelicans from our room. The parking was convenient and it was wonderful to walk onto the beach and see the sunrise in the mornings. The cute mid-century building is a plus, too. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Check in was a struggle. Rooms were still being cleaned after 6pm. We arrived around 12:30pm knowing the earliest we could check in to our room is 4:00, we went to eat and when we got back we enjoyed the amenities. When I didn’t get a call by 4:30 I went to the front desk to learn the room was not ready. There were several others also waiting on rooms still at 5:00 so I went to the grocery store and when we got back around 6:00 thankfully our room was ready but others were still waiting. At this point one of the guys at the desk actually went out on property to find housekeeping and figure out what was going on. I heard the next morning that the other folks were finally able to get in their rooms around 7:00pm!"

"Wow researching for us a room I found this bottom floor balcony where we could just walk out of our room. I even confirmed that this was at the bottom. But when I was finally giving my information they tried to put me on the 6th floor. However I did contact and they gave me the floor I wanted on the ground. But the next day I came back and people were in my room. Apparently there was a plumbing issue. The person whom I have been working with said they were not aware of the situation. But both the desk person and the plumber assured me that they knew about the situation and was not supposed to run out that particular room. So now I don't have water to my main sink for almost a full day. When I contacted the person they gave me some crap about how they pretty much did me a favor by giving me the bottom floor.... The one I was assured that I was going to get. I did not get any apology I did not get any discount I did not get any of these things. Did not even give me a hey I'm sorry somebody was in my room when I came home and had to come back to be able to turn my water back on later on. So my contact gets a poor rating. However I do understand that the owner of the unit is a different person. The unit itself was good. Love that I can walk out of our room walk to the pool walk to the beach. Everything we needed was provided. So this is a very mixed review."
