"Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!"

"What can I say. Our stay was one of the best, if not the best stay I have ever had. I love this hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful food, beautiful building. I want to give a special mention to Thomas and Flo on reception. They were incredible. Breakfast to go was ready for 5.00am (we were hiking the three peaks) and nothing was too much for these two staff. Flo was so helpful and friendly and Thomas was such a delight to deal with. The spa: WOW! Pricey but worth it. Wonderful. I’ll see this hotel soon! "
