"Parking is easy and convenient. Attached via an elevator. The room was clean. Lots of options for food in the downtown area. The staff was very friendly and offered us cookies on check in and check out. "

"Location is great - actually unexpectedly quiet Parking was plentiful. Check in was good- fast & super easy. Room was really clean except that there was a pretty nasty smell (I think from the carpet. Like maybe the carpet needs to be washed) I love that the windows open (although just a little) but I had to keep them open b/c of the smell"

"The location of the hotel was great for us. It has a SPECTACULAR view of the Connecticut State Capital and the surrounding green space. Be sure to ask for the view room, as this was what made the stay worthwhile. It was a 10 minute walk to Dunkin Park, a minor league baseball stadium. Attending an event there was the reason for our stay. The adjacent neighborhood is not great. The hotel, while clean, is old and not in top condition. The room itself had been updated, but the bathroom showed a lot of wear."

"We would stay here again we absolutely loved the decor. It was modern funky and grand. We love the bar downstairs with the adorable DJ. She was amazing. I don’t know her name, but we love the music and her vibe. Great location, great price, comfortable bed, clean room."

"A beautiful hotel to stay in located in the heart of West Hartford. The helpful staff and easy valet parking make any visit even more enjoyable. The breakfast is always delicious and we look forward to that part of our trip! The rooms are clean, tidy and very comfortable. The well appointed gym is a nice plus. Cannot wait for our next trip!!!!"

"I do not usually leave reviews, but this deserves to be an exception. This was probably the best privately owned property I have ever stayed in. Well stocked--the owner has tried to think of everything and done a good job in doing so. Very good communicator with almost instantaneous replies. And the price is unbeatable. This will be my go to place anytime I am anywhere near Hartford."

"The host was very communicative and nice. The location is not what we were expecting and is not in a very safe area. We only stayed for the 1st of 4 nights because we felt unsafe in the neighborhood. Also couldn’t sleep because people were screaming at each other in the streets all night long. The next morning I stayed inside for a while instead of going to get breakfast because two guys were fighting right outside the front stoop which was followed by two more boisterous altercations across the street. It really is not a safe neighborhood, even though the place itself was decently clean and decorated."
