"When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. "Amazing experience to stay in a castle. We stayed in the Radcliffe Suite, so spacious and grand. The bathroom was huge! With a sauna! The bed was super comfy. My husband and I had dinner from the fine dining menu and our son was able to order from the relaxed dining menu which was great. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was equally wonderful, and my husband was very happy to see kippers as a menu choice. All in all we couldn’t fault a thing and really enjoyed our stay. The only bad thing was we only were able to stay one night."
