"Absolute Gem of a Hotel, bed and pillows were comfortable, nice big room, absolutely fantastic Breakfast, one of the best I have enjoyed, this is a 250yr old building yet oozes character, attached to a lovely pub, some of the big brands and more expensive hotels could learn a lot from hospitality from these guys. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. Dining in the Hungry Horse was OK but not exceptional. "Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them.
