"We were in town for a memorial service and unfortunately did not get to take advantage of all the property's amenities or see much of the area. But the house itself was terrific, nicely kept and more than enough room for 6 of us (4 adults, a teenager and a younger child). Plenty of entertaining space outside, which we were unable to use due to time constraints, but I'd stay here again for sure if I had a need to be in the area."

"This cozy cabin was perfect for our needs! My husband, our 14 yr old son and myself were in Cookson for the Bassmaster Jr/ HS tournament. The location was perfect! We were close to the tournament ramp at Chicken Creek and used the Cookson Bend ramp for practice days. It was super convenient! The cabin was a peaceful place for the boys to relax after being on the water all day and a great place for me to enjoy some peace & quiet while they were gone! Ha! The property was super clean upon arrival and we had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of spacious parking for our truck and boat trailer. Also, want to give a shout out to Brooks for answering my panicked questions about storm shelters! During our stay we found ourselves under a tornado watch. I have a little bit of storm anxiety and messaged him to ask about a safe place to hunker down in the event that watch turned into a warning! He was so gracious to ease my mind. We truly enjoyed our stay and the Cookson area. We would definitely look for this property again upon visiting the Tenkiller lake area. Be sure to visit Tahlequah if you find yourself here! Beautiful town with very rich Native American history. Loved my visit to the Cherokee National Heritage Museum. "
