"I’ve never stayed at a Dury in before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My husband and I based our booking on the reviews and I’m so glad we stayed. The staff was amazing. We had free breakfast, free dinner, and 3 free adult beverages a day. The rooms are clean and nice."

"We stay at this property quarterly, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms show some age, but they're clean and comfortable. It appear they only utilize half of the property, sadly occupied by traveling construction crews. Very loud, at 5AM they're all outside departing, yelling, talking, truck horns honking when vehicles are locked, unlocked, and starting up. This is typically right outside your room's door, windows. To avoid this request a room on the water side of the hotel, it's extra, but worth the silence. Secondly, the breakfast is non-existent. In fact, I'm surprised they even market that one is available. Some very old fruit, stale bagels, dry cereal, and on this trip sour milk, so had to throw it out. No juice, no coffee, both machines broken. I find it odd, everything here is a little above average, and the breakfast is such a letdown. For example x the coffee/juice machines, buy some muffins and fruit at Costco and the problem is solved, a minimal investment with a huge payoff."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. From my stays at other hotels in Birmingham I wasn't expecting a lot. For the price and the location this is a great find. The staff was nice. The atmosphere was good. There are different types of people checking in. The area is safe. The hotel feels safe as well. Whenever I'm back in the area this will be my place. If I had to say one thing bad I'd say that it takes too long for the $75 incidental fee to be placed back on your formal payment. I WAS SO PROUD THAT THE HALLS DID NOT SMELL OF WEED!!!!!!!! You can tell that it is an older building but it is well maintained."
