The Mallard Hotel faces a beautiful mountain view! There is no staff on-site. No lobby or personnel. You can text the Hotel number and get any questions answered in a few minutes. The room air conditioner was on and cooling very well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! We loved the weight of the covers, not too light, not too heavy. The King room has a small kitchen sink counter area with a modern refrigerator. Coffee pot with amenities. There is a hair dryer and clothes steamer in the bathroom. Extra towels and washcloths were available if needed in the on site laundry area on the first floor. There is an ice machine in this same area. The parking lot was very well lighted, so we felt it was a secure area even though there were no other buildings or businesses nearby. If we go through Cooperhill, TN again we would choose The Mallard Hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms have been beautifully updated and very comfortable. The bed was sooo comfy. The location was perfect for all of our adventures! We can tell the property has undergone updating. We will definitely visit again soon!

Cheep stained towels, broken toilet seat that they said would be fixed our 2nd day but never. Happened. No functioning elevator. Had mold in one of the ceramic coffee cups. We were there 2 rooms for 2 days. Code they gave us for both supply rooms didn’t work. We couldn’t get extra towels or TP or coffee cups. It’s basically 50 year old property with some freshening up but it was dated. Blackened areas on the wal. Paint left me wondering if it was excessive wear or dirt. Bed was ok and the patio area was nice. However I would only stay again if I had too.

Great spot

Very good location for a one night stay on a longer drive. The hotel itself has been updated and the rooms are nice generally. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the building has a beautiful view of the mountains. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We have 2 dogs (FREE, no extra charges) .great facility, clean ,good deal for the buck. Lots of grass for dogs. But would like tea offered, as per the great coffee in-room.

Absolutely an excellent room. One of the best mattresses I have ever slept on! Great bar with Keuri coffee maker, coffee pods, real creamer, etc. Microwave and a sink! Great TV with Tubi for movies. Only negative, they need to update the outside!

The room was clean, slightly dated. The instructions for check-in were very clear. However, the keypad was not functioning and the code for the lock box was incorrect. The staff quickly moved us to another room which we were able to enter with no problem.
