"If visiting Manchester, this may be a great base considering its proximity to the Metro, which will take you anywhere you need to go. An off-peak pass on the metro system is a bargain. One of the few hotels still offering free secure car parking. Decent bar and food onsite. The room was excellent. Very comfortable. The only crib would be that the shower is over the bath and access is not easy if you have issues with mobility."

"This hotel and all the staff are excellent. We loved our visit to Manchester-the hotel was lovely. Beautiful clean room with amazing views over the city. Lovely toiletries and tea and coffee all provided with a great brea Including fresh waffles. Staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. Room was clean fresh and modern thanks for a wonderful stay x "

"My stay was good. I would have loved if it were great. I had 2 single beds moved together to form a kingsize bed and being a couple using the bed. It made it somewhat uncomfortable rolling around the bed The buffet was good, unfortunately the machine doesn't have hot chocolate, you are left with either the choice of a coffee or tea - so if you are trying to stay away from caffeine with being pregnant, you have to make do with water or the apple/orange juice. If i wanted hot chocolate, they were selling it downstairs.. I have stayed in orher Novotels and i think this is my first experience with this. When the room is cleaned, the cutlery and glass cups are not cleaned, just left as used knowing there is no washing liquid that can be used to wash them. Would I recommend? Reluctantly! Could be great with a few emphatic steps. "
