It was the best place I have stayed on vacation. The view is fantastic and the things we did were exciting and special. Pius and Mary were great. Pius was an excellent driver. We went snorling three times and Chester down in Souffriere was an excellent guide. The Mango Tree restaurant was excellent. The chicken dish that Mary made us was delicious. It was fun making our own chocolate at the Chocolate Factory and the Sulpher Springs was very interesting. Best vacation ever. I also read Patricia's book about your sailing around the world. What adventures! I am an anthropologist and have been involved with development work for the last 43 years and have visited more than 40 countries. Many places you mentioned I have visited. I really enjoyed the read. You both are pretty special people. All the best.Adding in here (from Lisa): We enjoyed hanging out with the nearby tethered farm animals... the goats and a special cow who had a bright white egret on her back as we left to go to the airport. Tim was somewhat annoyed by the early morning bleating and chicken crowing, but I just put earplugs in ... I really enjoyed special moments alone in the swimming pool looking up at the clouds going by. And we found lots of very sweet mangos on the ground ready to be enjoyed!"

"This was an amazing stay!!!!!! My boyfriend and I went for my birthday from June 9-14th. I had a wonderful time! The house is big and spacious and the infinity pool was so relaxing! No one was in the unit next to ours so we had the pool all to ourselves. As someone who is from the Caribbean I was used to the kind of roads there but if you are not familiar with roads in the Caribbean do research before driving! It may easier to have someone taxi you ! They do provide transportation down the path way that leads to Tet Rogue. We had lunch there a couple times and dinner a couple times. We did go into town via taxi to the mini markets and supermarkets. Vinel gave us his car to use so most of the time someone would you use the car to bring us where we needed. Gregory at Tet Rouge was the best! He made us feel warm and welcomed and part of the main reason we kept going to the restaurant. Definitely go out and explore diamond botanical garden etc visit the other side of the island as well Castries, Canaries etc it’s about a 2 hour drive but it is so worth it! Rodney beach, Pigeon Beach, Virgie Beach :) I am someone who loves to enrich myself in the culture of people wherever I go and staying in this villa in the countryside provides exactly that. It was about a 30 minute drive from the airport up a lot of mountain but the view was so amazing on the way up! I would absolutely stay here again and cannot wait to go back!!! This may be an annual thing for us to be honest!!! :)"

"Hands down, the best view in the entire country! Everything about the house is amazing and I would absolutely stay there again. Greg cleans the pool each morning and he was very kind and helpful in getting us what we needed. In terms of in-country staff and support, Greg was the highlight!We did have two issues during out stay.1.The directions we were given to the property did not reflect recent changes to landmarks and the closure of a primary road leading to the property. Google maps did not offer an alternate route to the property. We called the in-country contacts provided however none answered our call. This was quite stressful as night was approaching, and we were at a loss for what to do. Luckily a kind local woman was able to get in touch with one of the contacts and once he was engaged, he responded promptly. The property owner was also relatively quick to respond and help. 2.During our 6-night stay, housekeeping was only provided once therefore we had to actively pursue getting things like trash bags, paper towels, clean towels, etc. I would offer three key recommendations for your stay.1.Rent a car. This is a must have considering how far out the property is from town and activities.2.Only buy groceries at a Massy Grocery store.3.Bring power strips (with the correct adapters) if you have lots of devices needing chargeOverall, we were very pleased with the experience and while there was a couple hiccups, the positives far outweighed the drawbacks!"
