"We just returned from a lovely holiday at the Fond Doux Resort in St. Lucia and it was absolutely amazing! We stayed in one of their free-standing cottages with a private plunge pool and outdoor shower. The layout was delightful and the setting was truly fantastic. There is a 45 minute hike on the property that takes you through pristine forest to a viewing platform that looks across Sugar Beach to the Petit Piton and the view at the top is stunning. The staff were lovely, the grounds were like an unspoiled botanical garden and the accommodations were delightfully unique. If you are looking for a beautiful, calm and romantic holiday in St. Lucia, the Fond Doux is perfect!"

"The staff at Ladera is committed to making sure you have a great stay, and it shows in every touch point — from planning excursions to turndown service. They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features! "

"My family and I had an excellent week enjoying all of the beauty the Hermitage Jewel had to offer, from the pool, to the views from the deck and every room of the house, and with the birds and lizards hanging out with us throughout the day. The house manager, Tamara, was wonderfully welcoming, personable and a great host. She arrived every morning to cook us a delicious breakfast (she makes the best scrambled eggs!) and blend some fresh fruit smoothies. She gave great recommendations for things to do and helped coordinate some amenities for us. She makes sure the home is well cared for, and goes out of her way to make it more comfortable. It was a great week to spend exploring, relaxing and decompressing in a luxury “treehouse” feeling home on beautiful St. Lucia! "

"This house has amazing views and great privacy. However, all the rooms except 2 bedrooms are open air. So birds and lizards were always in the kitchen and bugs and mosquitoes were a constant problem, even with good bug spray. Hot water was not always available for showers. The rules for the house said housekeeping would come 3 times a week, but the person only came once. The kitchen was stocked well. If privacy and views are what you are looking for, this is great. If bug and critter free lodging is what you are looking for, keep looking. "

"We are used to staying at a resort in Castries area. We chose Belle Etoile so we could experience local culture. We certainly got that, taking walks and eating at local restaurants. There are lots of really great places to eat and two beaches all within 20 min. And grocery store nearby so we could cook at the apartment and just hang out looking over the pastoral valley."

"Jenelle and Norbert are absolutely amazing hosts! When we arrived there were fresh eggs from their farm, water in the fridge and a basket selection of teas, coffee & crackers in the kitchen. The home was spotless and welcoming both inside and out. Norbert gave us a wonderful tour of their farm along with drinks straight from the coconuts. There is a bread-man that goes through the community honking his horn and delivering fresh, warm bread around 6:30 am, Norbert kindly gave to us. They both offered suggestions of things to do and places to go along with amazing support as we had a problem with our car rental. I wished we could have stayed here our whole stay. What an amazing gift of hospitality they have and their kids are also so sweet and kind! Thank you for your kindness! I can’t wait to go back and stay with them again!"
