Villa Alexandros is an amazing Corfu villa with a private pool, a property with no immediate neighbours, but with dreamy, panoramic views to the vast Ionian Sea at the front, tranquil olive grove and mountain views from the back, located in Nisaki, just 1 km away (10 min walk) from Kaminaki beach and only 30 minutes from Corfu airport.

The property is set on a hillside above Nisaki, with extensive outside entertaining areas, a self-contained level, and a magical, shaded rooftop terrace surrounding a swimming pool. Villa Alexandros boasts having uninterrupted views along Corfu coastline and across the sea to the mountains of Albania and the Greek mainland.

Villa Alexandros is the ideal villa for small or large families, up to 8 persons. It is unusually arranged with external stairs linking three floors: The ground floor, the self-contained annexe, the main villa on the first level, and the unbelievably huge roof terrace.
This level consists of an open plan kitchen/dining area, which opens to a garden terrace, a shared bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin, with one single and one pull-out bed.

Contrary to the norm, this villa has its pool located on the terrace, connected to the other parts of the property with external staircases. The swimming pool also has a children section on the side. The central part of the house, upstairs, is fully air-conditioned. It features a bathroom and a shower room, one master double bedroom and two twins, an open plan modern kitchen with dining and sitting areas. The front balcony doors open to a large balcony overlooking the sea and a smaller side balcony with a dining table. This balcony is the primary access to this delightful villa.
Alongside the pool, a shaded part of the terrace provides all the dining al-fresco facilities. One can easily say that this is the most fantastic part of the villa, offering cyclically incredible views underneath the starry summer sky.

Villa Alexandros is 1.6 km away from Nisaki centre, tavernas and shops, 1.7 km from the beach and only 24.0 km from Corfu airport.

Empfehlenswert

Die Kommunikation mit der griechischen Agentur vor Ort war manchmal nicht ganz so einfach, hat aber letztendlich zur Zufriedenheit funktioniert. Ansonsten ist es einfach ein tolles Objekt um ein Urlaub zu verbringen und die Dachterrasse mit Pool ist der absolute Knaller

Ein Urlaub, wie er nicht besser sein kann!!

Hervorragendes Ferienobjekt für 2 Familien. Jeweils eine Etage für sich und gemeinsamme Nutzung der großen Sonnenterasse und des Pools. Im Fernseher kein deutscher Sender, was aber nicht gestört hat, da die Abende mit Kartenspielen auf der Terasse verbracht wurden. Das Objekt wurde 2 mal in der Woche gereinigt und die Handtücher getauscht. Mit diesem Service hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Mit dem Mietwagen waren alle Sehenswüdigkeiten und Strände der Insel gut erreichbar. Es war ein super Urlaub! Ich kann die Villa bestens weiterempfehlen.

Lovely villa with amazing views!

Lovely villa with amazing views! We were 2 families, the youngest being 15 years old staying at this gorgeous villa. The most amazing thing about it is the sun terrace and pool area. The views are breathtaking and many an hour was spent watching all the wonderful yachts, cruise liners and boats sailing past. The villa is well equipped and well maintained by George ,who sees to the pool and the lovely Maria who came in every 2 days to clean the villa and change all linen. Both bath towels and pool towels were provided. We used the large BBQ area on many occasions. We did not have cars so it was quite a trek to the supermarket Aphrodites but they did deliver which was a god send as it is up hill on the way back ,with the drive up to the villa being very steep. We walked to Nissaki harbour area which took approx 25 mins- all down hill but very hard going on way back- make sure you wear appropriate foot wear! We hired out x2 motor boats on several occasions from Nissaki harbour for the day ,which was great fun and well worth doing. We caught a bus at the end of the drive to Corfu town - excellent value at approx 2.40 euros one way. The restaurant- Vitamins which can be reached on foot down hill was lovely and would highly recommend a visit. The only thing that has stopped me making it 5* was the fact of how remote the villa actually is and would say a car is a must and also we were inundated by wasps all day until about 8pm in the evening. The wasps appeared whenever we took any food or drink out to the terrace and were a real nuisance with a few of us being stung, but guess that’s just nature!

Magical Villa

This property was better than the pictures. The view is a million dollar view and the pool area is divine!! The beds were comfy, the house nicely appointed, and the grounds beautiful. We are seasoned travelers and like to see new things each trip but I will tell you that I will be very, very tempted to return to this villa!

Diese Villa ist perfekt für einen Urlaub mit zwei Familien. Durch die beiden separaten Wohnungen hat man einerseits unglaublich viel Platz, andererseits aber auch Privatsphäre und Rückzugsorte. Die Wohnungen sind sauber und mit Allem ausgestattet, was Familien benötigen, selbst das Kochen hat Spaß gemacht, denn es fehlt auch hier an Nichts, ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck, Töpfe, Pfannen, Gläser ..... wunderbar, das Highlight für die Kinder - die Sandwichmaker :-) Das Highlight für die Erwachsenen: am Morgen zu überlegen, auf welcher der diversen Terrassen oder Balkone denn gefrühstückt werden soll. Nicht zu übertreffen ist die wirklich große und komfortabel ausgestattete Dachterrasse, die einen atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer bietet und von der aus man am Morgen den Sonnenaufgang betrachten und das Einlaufen der vielen Kreuzfahrtschiffe in den Hafen von Korfu beobachten kann, während man auf einer der vielen Sonnenliegen gemütlich den ersten Kaffee trinkt bis die Kinder den immer sauberen und großzügigen Pool, der ebenfalls auf dem Dach ist, für sich erobern. Erst dann ist Schluss mit der Stille, die man hier wirklich hat. Gerne haben wir den Außengrill benutzt, der ebenfalls super sauber und mit Grillkohle ausgestattet auf einer kleinen, etwas abseitigen Terrasse steht. Insgesamt ist diese Villa ein wunderschöner Ort zum Erholen und die Lage ist perfekt, ist man doch umgeben von Olivenbäumen völlig "allein" und kann trotzdem in ca. 10 Gehminuten Supermarkt oder Tavernen erreichen. Genossen haben wir auch, dass die vier Kinder (zwischen neun und fünfzehn) hier ausgiebig toben und spielen und auch einmal laut sein durften und sich einfach niemand daran störte. Genug Platz zum Spielen gibt es auch. Die Betreuung durch EOS ließ keine Wünsche offen, auf unseren Wunsch hin, war sogar der Kühlschrank bei Ankunft (zwei Uhr am Morgen) bereits mit unseren Wünschen (Essen für das Frühstück und Getränke) gefüllt worden. Mehr kann man kaum erwarten. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort uneingeschränkt.

Super Preis-Leistung, großartige Lage

Die Villa ist sehr geräumig, sauber und der Blick ist atemberaubend. Die Vermieter und die Eos Agentur sind nett und hilfsbereit. Es wurde uns für den ersten Abend wegen später Ankunft freundlicherweise vom lokalen Supermarkt der Kühlschrank gefüllt. Auch waren in der Küche die Basics von den Vormietern noch vorhanden (Salz, Kaffee, Filter, Olivenöl...). Was wir nur vorab nicht wussten: das Haus ist in zwei Wohnungen unterteilt, die nur durch die Außentreppe verbunden sind. 3 Schlafzimmer oben, 2 Schlafzimmer unten und nur je einen Schlüssel. (Wir waren mit 4 Kindern unterwegs und dachten, es gibt eine Treppe im Haus). Ansonsten alles top, sauber und ordentlich in idealer Lage.

It was even better than we expected

We are a family of 9, grandmother, parents and adult children plus partners. This villa was amazing and the accommodation split across two levels was perfect. The view from the top terrace was beautiful. We only stayed a week but the weather was hot and sunny... we have all come home with an unexpected tan for October. Only a six minute car drive to a secluded beach, or about 20 minutes if you want to walk. Villa was very well equipped for a large number of people and when we were out someone came in and made our beds and gave us clean towels. I can't recommend Villa Alexandros enough. It was everything we had hoped and more. It was paradise.

Spacious, private hillside villa with beautiful sea views. Great for groups wanting their own space.

Plus Points Very private, villa is not overlooked at all. Very few cars use the road. Fantastic sea views from the spacious roof top pool terrace and some bedrooms. Big pool with separate baby pool. Rooftop 'pergoda' give plenty of shade and dining area. Off road parking. Set in olive groves. Big outdoor BBQ terrace. Balconies on every room. Kitchen very well equipped for family meals. Spotless cleaning. Bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. On the bus route. Great for family or friends who want their own space as the villa is set over 3 levels and has lots of different seating areas. Main house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & open plan lounge/kitchen. The apartment downstairs has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen & patio. Great for our party, Nannie could have her own space downstairs. Excellent service from management company. Great driving directions and they kept in touch throughout our stay. Minus Points Some bathrooms just have handheld shower heads. If you are a party of 10 and all want to dine together, none of the 3 dinning tables would accommodate all. Loads of wasps at that time if year, they were not particularly aggressive though. Beach is walking distance but the hill is very steep. Beds are very firm. No door from the lounge to the bedroom corridor so early risers may disturb others. Deco is a bit dated but has character. Not ideal if you struggle with steps.

Villa Alexandros is Spectacular!

Our one week stay at Villa Alexandros was amazing. The stunning pictures of the Villa played out in reality as advertised. The Villa is about a 30 minute drive from the port in Old Town Corfu - you pass through many interesting areas on the twists and turns of the road and arrive in the town of Nissaki, and then locate a narrow, steep road to take you part way up the hill to the Villa. Parking space is provided, and the Villa is set on three levels - all separated by flights of stairs. The first level is independent of the second level (separated by an external stair case). First level has a comfortable outdoor sitting area, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and well appointed bathroom with washing machine. Second level has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room area (with TV) and full kitchen (including dishwasher). Top level is the rooftop patio with covered dining area, large pool, plenty of space, comfortable lounge chairs, etc., with an amazing view of the sea. Lots of sun during the day and a feeling of being in a very special place. The folks at Eos Travel were responsive and professional - all payments and communications were quick, seamless and efficient. The property is maintained by its owners, George and Maria - aside from being exceptionally friendly, the place was immaculate, the pool was maintained and clean, and the premises was cleaned and towels replaced while we were there. Location was excellent - several restaurants/tavernas close by with fantastic food, others are just down the road (Vitamins, Roumeli and Anthi are close, Lord Byron is a short drive south in Barbati and is also excellent). The local supermarket is Aphrodite's - Aphrodite herself sits at the till and is very helpful - there is also a bakery and pizza place attached (which delivers to the Villa). The people are so friendly, nice and helpful - our vehicle didn't start one day at the Villa, one of Aphrodite's staff came by with her husband and gave us a boost. Ipsos (beach) is a 10 minute drive south, Kassiopi is a 15 minute drive north (interesting shopping and many restaurants). Not one complaint about the area or the Villa - lovely in every way. Advice: don't leave food out on the counters (ie. bread) or on dirty dishes - the ants are fast and furious - I assume this is an issue for the island life in that climate, not a fault of the Villa. A 10 out of 10.
