"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chez Lucy (renamed La Petite Colline). The new owners, Seyda and her family have completed a lot of work on the Gite, and we were lucky enough to be their first guests. The new furniture and beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need. They live next door so if you ever need anything they are on hand. "Had a wonderful week here in Perigord Vert. We enjoyed the local scenery, villages and attractions. Cathy was a wonderful host - thank you for the lovely food gifts and the beekeeping lesson! "Nous avons été déçu de notre gîte. Les alentours sont mal entretenus, l’impression d’abandon. Dans la chambre n°3, le matelas est plus large que le sommier. La cuisine: manque de vaisselle, d’ustensiles de cuisine, de bols pour déjeuner. Des plats rouillés. Pas de vraie cafetière… il faut des dosettes senseo. Manque aspirateur, seau et serpillère pour faire le ménage. Sur la terrasse, les lattes en bois se soulèvent, le salon de jardin est vieillissant, odeur de fosse septique."

"Des hôtes très charmants et réactifs, avec de très bons conseils pour notre séjour! Logement très propre, très bien équipé, bien optimisé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, mieux qu’en photos! Du calme, de l'intimité, situé sur les hauteurs de Trelissac avec une très belle vue d’un côté et de l’autre à l’orée de la forêt, où des biches passent dans notre jardin, tout en étant à 10mn de Périgueux! Gite conversion was fine, though some of the equipment was idiosyncratic, with microwave/grill but no oven. Only a two burner hob and unnecessary dishwasher (for 2 people?). 3 steak knives but no butter knives. The dining/living room cupboards were ancient and two of the doors fell off while we were there. "We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, very well equipped and with a great view across to the village. It also has a fantastic pool but unfortunately the weather was poor so only used it a couple of times. It's on the edge of a pretty village with 2 restaurants and a shop.
