"Me and my wife spent the weekend here as a birthday treat. Really lovely location, great hosts and place to stay. An unexpected surprise was a super friendly cat which helped keep us company over the weekend. I would highly recommend this place."

"On arrival the converted barn was beautifully clean. Superb hot tub. Everything you could want was there except for a mop which would have been essential as coming from the hot tub left considerable wetness on the kitchen floor.The other detail, not shown in photos when booking, was the giant solar assisted heating pump in the small bathroom that was very off putting. "Lovely setting, grounds and main buildings and facilities including bar area excellent. Plenty of parking.Breakfast was excellent and great staff.Room in a detatched accomodation block was very clean and comfortable, the only issue was getting enough hot water which was reported to reception."

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The only two negatives are that the car park has limited parking and the spaces are quite tight - just be aware if you have a larger vehicle. The staff were great and the location is lovely."
