"We had an amazing 3 day stay in the Loire, made so much better because of our accommodation in this beautiful house on the grounds of Chateau Beauvais. The house was just as described, and the six of us were made to feel perfectly comfortable in the exquisitely furnished spacious rooms and living areas. It was a real treat to stay there. Lovely grounds to walk around and yet conveniently located for us to explore many of the great chateaux and towns of the region. Thank you Marie Cecile for welcoming us to your beautiful home and Corinne for being so helpful and delivering us delicious breakfast pastries each morning with such a friendly smile!"

"Once you're in the room, its very clean and has everything you need. But the exterior is off-putting with a fence around the facility and only one way in/out. We made the mistake of staying several nights thinking the location would be convenient, but working with the limitations of the autoroute was challenging... either using the help button and paying a high toll or taking a long path around and needing to walk through several gates and around the building to get to the room."

"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident guests. Instead they offered us the option of a picnic which we took and had out in the forest. Beautiful spot but the food was disappointing for the price. Such a shame. Put a bit of a downer on what was otherwise a perfect trip. When somewhere is as remote as that they really should contact guests to see if they want a table held for dinner. The night we did eat in the restaurant was beautiful and amazing food!! "

"We arrived and were greeted by our host who showed us around. the building outside and in was exactly what we hoped. A rustic French country home (at least this American's pictures a country home). Plenty of room for all of us and space to eat outside or in. Walked down by the river, visited all the castles. Wonderful stay. He was patient with my husband's French, very friendly. highly recommend this place."

"We had a wonderful time at this house. There were only two of us but it can definitely accommodate a larger group. The house was just what we envisioned when looking to find a place in this area and it was just as pictured. Pascal and I believe his wife met us when we arrived and showed us around / gave us a tour of the house and property. The area seemed very centrally located to various day trips we wanted to take in the loire valley. This was a great house - we would definitely stay here again!"

"La Paqueraie is a wonderful gite, and we have enormously enjoyed our week there. It is situated in a peaceful rural area, surrounded by fields, a five minute drive from the centre of Saint Branchs, so it's ideal for a quiet relaxing break. It's also very well situated as a base to go and visit some of the wonderful sights and activities in the area (too many to list.) It is about 30 minutes drive from Tours. The gite itself is charming and full of character. Both bedrooms (one large and spacious, the other more basic) have ensuite bathrooms. The lounge area is comfortable and spacious enough for four people - cooking area a little cramped though. The gardens surrounding are beautiful with plenty of space to run around, and the swimming pool is fabulous. The owner, Monique, is on site, and she was very welcoming and helpful. We have enjoyed our week here hugely, and are very keen to come back."
