"Marie was a fantastic host and the house was perfect for our stay in the Loire valley. We were two families traveling together with young adults and teenagers and we had plenty of room and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in with our the dining options not far away. The house is central to many great places and we really enjoyed visiting Amboise. We also enjoyed our visit to the castle and to see the extensive renovations that have been done to the Chateau. We look forward to visiting again in the future. "

Spa facilities are excellent - I would highly recommend a massage and if needed the acupuncture - worked wonders for me. Tattoos can be arranged too. "My wife son, and I had the incredible pleasure of staying at this lovely home for three nights. We have stayed in many VRBO and Airbnb in the past, and this was by far our favorite. In part due to Odile’s hospitality. She had taken care of even the smallest details like ensuring Netflix was changed to English in case we wanted to watch something when we came home at night.France was in the midst of a heat wave when we arrived, and while there is no air conditioning in this space, between nighttime dips in the beautiful swimming pool and numerous fans, we stayed comfortable.This is the perfect space for those looking to get away and be in the quiet of the country. The closest “town” (which consisted solely of of a pharmacy in bakery) was a 5 minute drive - while grocery store etc was closer to 20 minutes away. So you will need to grab your baguettes, stinky cheese and wine and bring them with you!"

"One of a kind experience. This was a peaceful and calm place to return to at the end of the day. We enjoyed petting the dog and walking around the Chateau grounds. Being into history, the mural inside lodge and the surrounding buildings was awesome to see. The sparkling wine made on site tasted great, too. Hosts were friendly and helpful. "We really enjoyed our stay! The Hosts were extremely courtesy and welcoming! They gave us a nice tour of the place when we arrived. Our younger kids enjoyed the trampoline that was available as well. The only thing we didn't realize was that the linens were an extra charge as the listing said they were provided. Other than the communication was excellent! We would happily stay there again if in the area. Thanks for allowing us to make memories at your Gite!"
