"La chambre n'était pas très propre. Il faisait froid dans le logement et le chauffage était très bruyant, sans pour autant chauffer correctement. L'isolation est très mauvaise : on entend aussi bien les voisins que les voitures qui circulent dans la rue, pourtant très passante. Je ne me suis pas sentie en sécurité durant mon séjour. L'étage est en accès libre, et la fenêtre donne directement sur la rue, sans aucun rideau ni protection. N'importe qui peut donc s'approcher de la fenêtre, voire...

This was one of the most romantic and enchanting places we have ever stayed. The grounds were beautiful, the hotel was stunning, the 7 course meal was unforgettable. We were there in spring so it was like our private home. We didn't have time to use the spa facilities but from what we saw they too were most likely splendid. If you are a king this place might only be adequate, but for us mortals this is over the top.

Chateau de Nazelles was a lovely place to stay and use as a base for seeing a few Chateaus within 40 minutes. The owners and their staff were especially friendly and offered very thoughtful hospitality. Our accommodations were unique and very comfortable. Just be careful making the turn into the Chateau - it is very narrow and the large stones that have been there a long time are not forgiving. Our rental car didn't have a great turning radius so this was something we really needed to watch...

Manoir de Basses Rivieres is a hidden gem! The property is lovely, beautifully maintained, serene, and fascinating. Be sure to explore all of the caves which are on the grounds, which have been utilized since Troglodytes lived in this area. Guillaume and Arthur are gracious hosts, and the rooms are elegantly and thoughtfully appointed. Unbelievably perfect place to stay! Note: Be sure to reach out to them directly before your arrival, as accessing the hotel is a bit tricky.

We stayed 15 days in France and this was our favorite hotel.. Room was exceptional staff was fantastic with excellent Wifi and Free Parking.We just loved this hotel. This is 5 stars plus.. Now the downside.. The Parking is horrible. You need to almost be a stunt driver to even get into the gate of the hotel. A sub compact barely fits. I suggest they somehow expand the parking so the cars easily fit into the gate and lot.
