"We loved this hotel location and convenience. We also appreciated the layout of the family bunk room which gave us plenty of space and comfortable beds. The rooftop restaurant and bar is terrific too. The hotel staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful, especially Saray who helped multiple times with interpreting train schedules, routes, and ticket purchases to the Vall de Nuria in the Pyranees. We had a great stay!"

"Lovely hotel with a private roof top pool, great staff, ideal location just 10mins from the metro, area looks a little run down but plenty of tiny shops and places to grab things to eat, I would definitely think about staying there again."

"Second time at Bemate apartments but this time stayed for 3 nights. I didn’t realise towels were not changed during stay so found this really disappointing. When requested from reception, they sent the housekeeper who refused to give us more towels. Reception staff are welcoming and respond to messages. Apartment was clean and modern with a lovely terrace."

"Very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast but extra charge. Secure building entrance. Friendly professional staff. Not too far by taxi from the airport and easy to catch taxi from hotel. On Ramblas which is a busy street but the location is great for walking to many sites and exploring the historic gothic quarter. Short walk to catch the hop on hop off buses. "

"Property was in a nice and safe area not too far from all the action. It was a little bit difficult to communicate with them and if you didn’t speak the native language, it was even more difficult thank God my wife did "

"This would have been a five star review except for the flat refusal of the hotel to switch on the air conditioning in the rooms. The air conditioning was on in the lobby but the rooms were as hot as hades but according to the staff it was still winter. It was 75f outside "

"Was not aware of the lounge area, or the rooftop area until we discovered it. The front desk staff should have told us upon our early arrival that we could go there and relax until our room was ready. Thankful that our room was ready prior to check in time."

"We really liked this neighbourhood of Barcelona, first of all. It was in a lovely location with a terrific atmosphere, only a 15 minute walk away from Las Ramblas. Lots of nice eateries and shops close by. As for the apartment, couldn't really ask for much more. The staff were great in getting in touch prior to arrival, and friendly when checked in. Clean and spacious room. Ample facilities. Recommend."
