"This is the perfect spot to stay on current river! The river is less crowded (even on the holiday weekend) and the views from the deck are beautiful! It was easy to find and check in.The house had everything we needed and more, along with being very comfortable, cozy and accommodating. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely book again! "

"We spent a lot of time in the kitchen. Us Great-Aunts taught cooking to Great-niece. It was fun. Celebrated a birthday. Reminised family times. Ate, drank tea & soda. Played games. Took photos. It rained a lot of the time there. But we stayed and enjoyed each other's company. "

"Well the pictures are great but they don’t do it justice. My wife and I needed a relaxing weekend getaway and this property was perfect! We do our own cooking and the grill and griddle were perfect for us. We used pretty much the whole place. The table with umbrella and the lounge chairs with umbrella on the deck, the beach chairs and umbrellas at the private beach, the deck chairs on the deck overhanging the river and the fire pit. It rained for awhile Saturday so we stayed dry playing cards on the deck with the umbrella and lounge chairs. We relaxed for a movie in the comfortable living space and made good use of the kitchen. This place is great and we WILL be back. We met the owner for a brief tour upon arrival which was helpful and a delight. If you’re unfamiliar with the Current River, the water is crystal clear and makes for a relaxing hangout. The place was decorated top notch. A lot of thought went into this cabin and it made for an A stay. "

"Our stay was wonderful! Austin could not have been more accommodating, kind, and helpful. Unfortunately the river flooded during the last few days of our stay. On one day we took my 6 year old granddaughter to a nice water park and the other day we went to a bunch of flea markets and antique shops. The lemonade house grill and 1808 public house restaurants were sooo good every time we went for both lunch and dinner! Doniphan is a nice little town that i will definitely return to and will definately stay at Austins again too!"
