"Communication before check in day was perfect, Emma was very helpful. On the day of arrival our check in time was 4pm…we did not get the key code till after 5pm, we left 3 voicemails and messages in the end we contacted VRBO, they had no check information and were literally about to cancel our booking and refund…we absolutely did not want as we had all driven 3 hours each and knew we would not be successful in finding something suitable in Port Isaac with an hour. Just as we said to VRBO no you must try again to contact the host…Emma rang on my husbands phone apologies for delay as she was on N international call. We did not make a fuss and just wanted to get into the property. We found the house to be relatively clean. Sofa and furnishings had seed better days. Needed a good upholstery clean or new one! Kitchen equipped well enough, as always previous guests had not cleaned some glasses or pots very well, we are out mostly. Bathroom very clean, great shower. Bedding very good, fresh and clean although pillows all extremely uncomfortable…thick and very bumpy.Stairs-lethal. Stairs from kitchen to first landing incredibly awkward and sharp! Stairs from first floor to master and bunk bed room-is a serious accident waiting to happen. Each individual step is extremely narrow. More troubling is that the step at the top you can really on place the ball of your foot going up or down as the floor overhangs this step. Stayed in several PIsaac properties, we will not rtn to Stanley"

"The property is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean in a killer location. It might be noisy and congested in the high season, but on a sunny weekend in April it was perfect. If you are a fan of Doc Martin you will love it. You walk out the front door and straight into the "Crab & Lobster" which is actualy The Golden Lion. Its just yards away from the Michellin Stared Outlaws Fish Kichen. Book well in advance (months) if you want to guarantee a table in the high season, but its worth it. The managing agent was really helpful when we had a small issue with the key safe. The property has a parking space which are at a premium in Port Isaac. A word of warning: the space is on the edge of town about 1/4 mile away, and it is a strenuous walk up a very steep hill. If you are fit and healthy its no problem. If you have mobility issues it might be. "

"Port Isaac was an amazing place to stay. And our accommodations was the icing on the cake! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. An experience I will not soon forget. "

"We stayed here mainly because it had a free parking spot right in front of the cottage. It was located midway between the platt and the co-op for groceries. Having a kitchen and store nearby helped us to not have to eat out every meal, but there are many great restaurants in the area. The living room window has a nice view of Lobber Point and if you stretch your neck and look right, the sea comes into view! PI is full of noisy seagulls and Cobblers is no exception. They live on the roof and squawk all night. This actually didn't bother us at all! The beds are fairly comfortable with nice fluffy duvets. Washer:dryer combo is nice to have as long as loads are small and you can wait a long time for it to dry. The cabin has lots of storage with a nice bathroom and shower. Towels are furnished. Bring your own wash cloth if you need that. Living room furniture is comfortable and the TV is small but you can get Netflix and You Tube as well as local stations. It was cool watching the Fisherman’s Friends movie while we sat there listening live to the same sea gulls!! The walk down to the platt takes about 5 minutes. Coming back is mildly strenuous. The walk up to the Co-op and the top of the village restaurants is a little more strenuous. Just take it slow! This is a wonderful, friendly village and worth the trip! Things to do in P.I.
