My 80th Birthday Celebration

We had a wonderful stay. It was close to the beach and we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was awesome having 2 of all appliances really was great..The mini golf course was a little challenging...we were disappointed that the corn hole and tick tac toe that was pictured were not there...pool table and TV room were used alot...fun time was had by all!!

Restful Stay

Overall this is an excellent place to stay. It has it all and especially bathrooms for each bedroom. It acommodated our family perfectly. If i was to critize anything I would say clean the front porch more often and the window sink window that has the ocean views could be cleaned more often. I actually scrubbed them my self as this place is so nice and close to the ocean. Highly reccomend!

Absolutely amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has it all! We cannot wait to go back next year. There is ample space with a master on each level. The bunk room was perfect for the 6 kids. We took full advantage of the pool, hot tub, mini golf (AMAZING), theatre and game room (kids favorite) and the short walk to the beach (less than 5 minute walk). The decks were perfect in the mornings and evenings. The dual kitchen was perfect for our multi-family group. Everything about this was absolutely amazing - this is my favorite spot and we have stayed all over OBX over these last few years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Theater room was a neat experience. Kitchen nicely stocked, bedrooms spacious. Definitely not the cleanest home we have stayed in. It looked as though things were wiped down and not cleaned as well as they should have been in between guests. Found some gross stuff. Not sure if blankets/ bedspreads are changed in between guests.

Pleasant stay

We relaxed in the pool and hot tub, watched movies on a big screen (room was a bit cold though), and used the game room quite a bit. The little kids enjoyed the miniature gold, beach toys, kids toys, games and puzzles. It is a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, but not having a pantry was a bit of a challenge. We made do by using a few empty cabinets. Everything was clean when we got there and in order. I personally found the beds (I tried various ones) a bit too firm for my taste so I had to purchase something to help soften it and help me sleep better. Check in was easy and our overall stay there was pleasant.

Carolina Sweet Tee Review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a perfect size for our family. We loved the large pool and pool area. The great room and kitchen were very large and the kitchen was very well equipped. Having 2 of everything in the kitchen was a great plus. The house was very clean when we arrived. One of the cleanest houses we have rented over the years. The location was perfect. Not a long walk to the beach and no traffic or roads to cross, beach was nice and wide and not crowded. Would stay at this house again if we decide to vacation in OBX next summer.

Wonderful house but hard beds.

The house itself was very nice and well appointed. Enjoyed the house very much. Beds were very hard and everyone one had difficulty sleeping. If they would change the mattresses I would stay here again. VRBO site stated sheets and towels included which was not the case. Only sheets included.

Great Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful stay. Here are the pluses: The place was tidy and clean. We played foosball and pool a lot. We put together a bunch of the puzzles they provided. we had a large group so the double kitchen was perfect!. We loved the pool and the hot tub, the beach. I think we used everything that was provided. a truely enjoyable experience. Here are the complaints that I heard from the group: The minigolf was too hard (we tried it and gave up). Honestly I expected this when I saw the photos. I still used the idea of a minigolf course as a selling point to my family but I knew it wouldn't get much use (I'd call it a gimick but I used it the same way to get excitement up with the grandkids. The beach is not great for sharks teeth but we did come home with a huge conch shell! Some of the beds were uncomoftable (not mine!!!). Despite some small things this is a must visit location!

The house is very conveniently located in an exceptional area of the Outer Banks. Our family and friends like the amenities of the home and spacious living and recreational features. The home theatre and game room are hits with the kids and the pool is always fun. The spa is great for the adults to relax before turning in. Definitely recommend this to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What can I say? This is the second time we stayed at Carolina Sweet Tee and we will be back in August. This house has everything you need for your vacation stay. There is plenty of room for everyone. WE had a couple of cooler, rainy days and enjoyed the inside activities. Puzzles, games, books, movies. My husband even played Yahtzee for the first time at age 63. It's a short walk to the beach. The mini golf course is always fun for everyone. The pool area is spacious with plenty of seating and gets sun all day.

All that we needed

Carolina Sweet Tea was a great stay for our family. Kitchen was well equipped and we loved the wood block island. The week was less than desirable weather so the hot tub was visited everyday sometimes twice. Plenty to do for the whole family of all ages. It’s well set up for babies/toddlers from pack and plays & toys on all floors. Sand toys, beach chairs and beach cart were available for use. The putt putt course is really cool too. Basketball goal, pool table and football available. Parking can easily fit six trucks. The beach isn’t far although we drove daily to the 4x4 beach. Only thing is everyone but the teens said that their bed was too hard. Also take your pillows along, ones provided were flat as pancakes. Location is first spot on street next to busy Hwy 12 so loud vehicles late and early. Overall was a great stay!

OBX 2022 vacation

They responded immediately that they were waiting on a part. It was fixed immediately after they got the part. Home is spacious. Pool is wonderful. Only suggestions we might have would be more umbrellas or shade around pool. Home needs a good deep clean. More seating or hammock on second deck. This is our third time staying in this property. We live the location and all the amenities.

We didn’t really know what to expect but we we pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Carolina Sweet Tea served as an exceptional outpost for family of 12 including our children and their children. There were plenty of things to do without having to leave our rental home for adults and children with the added bonus of having the beach just a few blocks away. What an awesome 2 weeks we had together!

Perfect Vacation Home for a Young Family!

Convenient washers and dryers located on bottom and 2nd floor are quite convenient. Pool table, Foosball table, swimming pool and miniature golf course make it so much fun. We, especially, loved the outdoor hot tub. There is a shared bathroom with two bedrooms which is perfect for parents who want to be close to their kids. This so nicely decorated beach home has something for everyone. We loved it!

Very nice place to stay

Property was nice with a 2 block walk to the beach. Had to go up then down steps to get to the beach so carts did not work well at that point. Beach was nice. Property had lots of amenities that we really liked. Kids had a great time playing put put swimming, game room and movie room. Very comfortable house. I would have liked the bunk room (bedroom) to be more for a family....queen bed and separate bunks. Also better quality....for kids great but not for adults. Oh.....for older people lots of steps. But still 5 stars for us.

wonderful vacation

The outside was a little beachy but the inside was very pretty. Everything was clean and neat. The house decor was nice. The kitchen was fantastic with a lot of space and had plenty appliances.

Carolina sweet tee

How was extremely dated, did not look like it had been cleaned inside (soda or something brown splattered all over white kitchen cabinets- you’d have to be blind not to see it), dust and spider webs evrywhere. Outside was gross. There wasn’t a single entrance that didn’t have to be cleared of massive webs and animal droppings before entering. I took photos. We will not use this rental company again. Or stay at this home. We stayed here 3 years ago (with a different company) and enjoyed it enough to book again but sadly it was not the same.
