Perfectly Appointed Getaway For Two

Perfectly simple. Everything one might need for a beach getaway. Kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath all well appointed and comfy cozy. TV in living room has a great sound bar that served as a wonderful Bluetooth speaker, and another massive TV in the bedroom for lazing around if you catch a bit of bad weather. Great little deck out front with views to the North, East and South, and if you catch a clear night, the heavens above. Star-filled skies that will astound.

Idyllic beach cottage🌊🐴

Cottage is great, very well appointed, all you need is food and bug spray!! Ignore the GPS and stay on the beach till the mile marker the host gives you!! GPS keeps taking you inland and with the puddles from recent storms, it’s an OFF ROAD Adventure for sure!! Loved my stay, I’ll be back! Saw horses along the beach and near the house every day 🌊🐴

Very nice little cottage

This cottage is very nice for a couple. It is well maintained, almost new. The amenities are good and it’s cozy and comfortable. There aren’t any stores nearby, so make sure you bring everything you need. You can make it here during high tide, but low tide is way easier. We came in late August and the water was a perfect 78F and crystal clear. If you arrive at night, watch out for sea turtles and horses on the beach!

Amazing getaway for 2

House is small but very clean, 12 foot ceilings, Lots of windows, big deck. Those added lots of open airy feelings for us. The wild horses are in the yard daily. Fantastic sunrises and subsets! We were also able to see the Milky Way! Simply breathtaking!

Great location but cottage needs better house keeping

Cute cottage, location is great. Very close to the beach. Easy fixes but needs to be addressed: There was garbage piling on the lot and visible from the deck. Pubic hair on the floor, toilet, shower. Squeaky/loud self made bed, stains on the towels. False advertising of hot tub. We explored and saw it was on site at the bigger house, but not available to us. Garage and ice-maker were a nice bonus, including beach chairs, sun shade, skim board, etc. but we helped ourselves to them, and not sure upon writing this review that it was allowed. Small improvements would make this place great again, but it is somewhat remote, so perhaps we’re overly critical. Overall, good value and had a nice time.

We had an excellent time in this cottage. It was nice and removed, and the beach was not crowded at all. We enjoyed our mornings and afternoons lounging around and would recommend staying here.

Very cute cottage perfect for my boyfriend and I to stay for the weekend. They have most everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The ice machine in the garage was amazing since there was nowhere else to get ice. Overall it was a great place to stay!

The location, cleanliness and house were absolutely perfect. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was that the bed needs to be addressed. Something is up with it. Everything else was absolutely perfect! It is a great little cottage perfect for a couples getaway!! Even got to see a couple of the famous wild horses!

Outer Banks Carolla Beach Cottage

Awesome! Small and charming with great Beach Acces. Wild horses and awesome Jeep 4x4 driving. Perfect stay for a couple. Great vacation spot. Quiet and very nice property location. Owner/Property Managent was great also. Highly recommend!

Perfect, has everything you need. Clean , washer/dryer, garage to put your beach items in. Ice maker for the cooler. Extra fridge, beach chairs. We had horse out front first night and was napping in the yard when came back from beach . Highly recommend !

Wonderful property. Convenient drive to the beach and very secluded 11 miles up the beach. Loved the garage- could pull our jeep right into the garage with the doors off without worry. Grill was convenient-deck was nice. Horses came up to the yard. Can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks John for a great, affordable stay for my wife and I.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The cottage was just the perfect size and had all the amenities that you needed including a full kitchen. The hosts, Vicki and Blake, were super nice and quick to respond to our needs. The beach was only a couple blocks away which made it convenient and driving on the beach in our Jeep was a blast. Wildlife to include wild horses and deer are everywhere, even had a couple of black horses visit the cottage grounds. I highly recommend choosing this wonderful property if you want to experience real beach living.
