With breathtaking ocean views that stretch to both the north and south, this exquisite retreat will leave you mesmerized by the beauty of the Outer Banks.

Dreamers View offers the ideal vacation experience for families, featuring 6 spacious bedrooms, including two luxurious master suites. The private pool, hot tub, recreation room, and inviting sun and covered decks provide the perfect spaces to unwind and take in the sunrises and soothing beach breezes. For those seeking some fun, enjoy a cozy den to curl up with a book, or get active with a friendly game of basketball, volleyball, or horseshoes. And don’t worry – your furry friend is more than welcome to join in on the fun!

Dreamers View is not only a retreat in itself, but its prime location offers so much more. Just a short distance from the iconic Currituck Lighthouse and Timbuck II, you’ll find unique shopping, dining, movie theatre and tons of entertainment options. If you’re in the mood for adventure, it’s a quick drive to Carova, where you can park and explore the pristine beaches and encounter the wild horses roaming freely along the coast. For a change of pace, head over to Duck – only a short drive away – to experience some of the best restaurants and coastal charm the area has to offer. Review

Carolina Shores people were wonderful even when we had a problem. Checking was easy check out was easy. Cleaning service could have done a much better job. House was not clean upon arrival. Floors were dirty. Furniture had crumbs and dirt. Countertops were filthy. Sheets smelled terrible where I had to strip the beds and wash all the sheets again. House needs major updates. Kind of old and worn out. Appliances need massive updating. Coffee machine was so old you couldn’t even read what the button said to start coffee. Other Apliances like extra coffee maker blender etc. in cabinets were filthy like no one ever washed them. House location to the beach and beach access is perfect though. Other than the cleanliness everything was great.

Things to be aware of

The cleaning crew did not clean surfaces. The fridge should be updated, kitchen gadgets are very old and limited. Sliding did not all work well. It was hard to open and close them. Mattresses should be updated especially in the kids rooms. They are very uncomfortable. Overall rating is food but these things should really be addressed. Also at the pool the water washed along of the foundation out from under the cement.

Renting process was easy. Staff was helpful. Only issue was the house was full of pet hair. Otherwise a great property

Wonderful space.

Plenty of beach stuff including chairs and close enough to the beach. Space was wonderful so everyone could spread out. We had boys and girls on first floor so we could have used an extra bathroom down there. Screened porch was so pleasant In the mornings.

Great house! Location is perfect. Kitchen well equipped. Only negative is the yard. Standing water near swing set, mosquitos.

Family vacation June 2021

This house was perfect for our very large family! There were 16 of us and we all had plenty of space and activities to choose from. The swing set was perfect for the younger kids and the ping pong table and volleyball net were great for the older ones! There were also two bikes that came with the house which was a great surprise! It was a very short walk to the beach access. Hot tub and pool were used daily. We definitely did not run out of things to do in this house. I highly recommend it! The only downside was the amount of bugs on the back deck that were stuck to the windows and sliding door when we arrived. It took away from the gorgeous view of the ocean so I bought a scrub brush and glass cleaner to wash the deck myself. I understand that bugs can’t be helped but the windows could have at least been washed. And just to note....we had two of our personal bikes stolen from under the deck while we were at dinner one night so just be sure to lock things up. Thankfully they didn’t take the house's bikes too!

First time and we loved it!!

This was a great house in a fantastic location. Just a very short walk to the public beach access. The house was nice and spacious and I loved the fact that there was a king suite up on the top floor away from the other bedrooms on the other floors. Pool and hot tub were nice and sparkling clean. Definitely a great vacation. The only tiny criticism I have is that the pool and hot tub cleaning person showed up unannounced which was a little unexpected. If that’s a concern to you I would recommend you ask the agency if there are any scheduled maintenance visits in advance.

Great amenities and close to beach

Everything was as pictured. Great amenities and proximity to beach. Views from the house were great and easy walk to restaurants. We got a lot of use on the decks and outdoor area by pool The only downside was wifi was weak for those working from home and the hot tub wasn’t working our first night.

Great Beach Getaway

We recently visited the Outer Banks and stayed at the Whalehead Beach house. We loved the location! We were just about a block away from the public beach entrance which made for very easy access getting on and off the beach. The house was wonderful! It was pretty much as advertised aside from one small note. It had listed a fenced in yard which we were excited about since we were bringing out dog but the yard was in fact no fenced. Just the pool area was fenced. However, we still had a wonderful time and did not effect our stay. The house was nice and clean upon arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were 2 fridges (on the pool level and the kitchen level) which was great for a group of our size! We loved that there were so many amenities available to us! We enjoyed the pool, basketball, volleyball and the outdoor showers were a huge bonus! There were even extra beach chairs and umbrellas we were able to use at the beach. We would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Corolla and we hope to be back ourselves!

OBX Sunrise

This modest home is perfect for a group looking for an affordable stay in beautiful Corolla. The home lacks updated amenities, however, it is still a nice place with pool, hottub, comfortable furniture and bed. It didn't have a Keurig at the time of our stay, but it did have a 12 cup programmable coffee maker. The top floor and balconies provide beautiful views to the ocean. We would have appreciated if the balconies were swept down before we arrived because they were full of spiders and spiderwebs. Also all of the windows didn't have screens. One shortcoming of the house is the shower in the lower level has very low water pressure. I would recommend replacing the shower head. Overall, a great house, very close to the beach and far enough from everything else to give you the "secludedness" you're looking for.
