"We were cautious because of prior ratings but the hotel turned out to be outstanding. I would highly recommend it, very clean, good communication I’d give it a solid 9 out of 10 and a great walking location."

Its vibe was more yogi/surfer and more filled with singles back packing in their 20s, than families, but we found great restaurant options and had fun at the beach and pool. "Cozy small hotel right in the middle of the forest. You will be able to see howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, multiple species of crabs, iguanas, coatis and squirrells. The hotel is in a walking distance to South Samara Beach, and 3 minute drive to Carrillo Beach (highly recomended)."

"This is an amazing property in a very peaceful setting away from the hustle bustle of tourists. The pool area and the grounds overall are absolutely stunning! They have a beach club which is a few steps down from the property and that was the perfect walk for us every day. They also have golf carts to take you there if you don’t care to walk. The service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I had asked them to put some flowers and a bottle of winner in our room when we checked in. They went over and above and decorated the room with balloons and even brought us cake :) The food was great too, especially the breakfast! My only complaint was the age of the rooms. They are a little dated. But the staff said that they are going to kick off a remodel soon. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful start at this place! Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in Costa Rica!"

"This place was the highlight of our trip! The room was spacious and clean. The property grounds were immaculate and gorgeous! The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! The pool overlooking the sea was awesome! Samara is a short drive away and the beach is within walking distance from the property! We highly recommend this place! "
