DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
I knew this place was going to be slightly rundown. But building 3 where this rental is located should be completely shut down. To start, as soon as we arrived my mom took the elevator to the 2nd floor and I took the stairs. My mother and 1 other person were stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes as the door would not open. 20 mins may not seem like much but it is an outside elevator very small with no AC in 100 degree weather and humidity!!!!! A lady that was there told me the elevator had been broken that morning! So clearly it shouldn't have been open to use! My mom suffers from anxiety and medical issues and this was a horrible start to the trip. There are also signs everywhere letting you know the fire alarms in this building do not work, so Incase of a fire call 911. How unsafe is that?!?! Good luck if a fire starts in the middle of the night. The whole front portion of this building is also missing. And the stairs going up are dirty and jagged. When u walk in the unit a smell of mold and urine immediately hits you. The decor was cute but that's about it. The balcony feels unsafe as there are very soft spots on the floor. The bathroom sink is clogged and will flood if you leave it on. The pull out couch is incredibly uncomfortable and sunken so don't even bother with that. The living room remote buttons would not work!!!! I was so upset! The only thing that saved it was me downloading a universal remote that I had to pay 7 bucks for. On top of it all I was bit on my hand and back by some kind of bug multiple times in the middle of the night. I have the bites with pictures to prove it. So who knows if the sheets were even clean. I was offered a refund for 2 nights which doesn't cover any of the taxes or insane fees for this DUMP of a building so unfortunately the refund was a joke. We left to stay at the Omni hotel the last night and were out $100 but at least I felt safe and we could use the elevator. The elevator stayed shut down the whole time and Evolve sent me an email about the elevator not working 2 days after we checked in and had the traumatic event. As if that's of any help after the fact! Do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE else. I left 2 stars because Jeremy seemed nice over text. And the decor was cute. But he resolved nothing really for us. And this place should be shut down.
