The family who owns the home are very attentive and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was nice and clean and bed very comfortable. Christopher was super helpful and made us feel right at home!

Very lovely and quiet hotel within a comfortable walking distance to the tourist attractions, with free parking permit provided. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Really recommended for visitors with the car.

I never do reviews but felt as if I had to since my wife and I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Perfect location to walk to all the sites in Bath. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Wonderful

I absolutely loved this hotel and would return in a heartbeat. This is the place to go if you want to feel pampered and taken care of. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. Their breakfast menu is amazing. The food is delicious and beats many of the cafes in the neighborhood. Their location is great- they are walking distance from everything, but still located in a quiet street where you can avoid too many tourists.

Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost

This was truly an authentic overnight stay in a castle built in the early 1500's. The castle was amazing by itself, but our room, Henry VIII, was an experience by itself! It was exactly what we had hoped for and more than we expected. The bedding and towels were outstanding as was the comfort of the bed. The shower was also great plus there was a jacuzzi tub. We could not determine how to turn on the heated towel rack, and we had issues with turning on the fireplace (so did the gentleman...

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. The hotel and staff are wonderful. Their restaurant is fantastic and the town is beautiful. So much attention to detail and the food easily rivals the best in London. You will not regret spending time in this wonderful hotel.

Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.

The location was excellent and was within easy walking distance to the historic center of Bath.
