Apex City of Bath Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel and environment was clean. Effective AC system and large rooms Great location - working distance to key attractions. Sauna was a great temp. Steam room temp was mediocre and pool is a medium size. Staff were fantastic, Tony & Jessica were great. Bar area is great for relaxing or working, Alex the bartender is fab."

"The location was great for the conference I attended at the nearby M Shed. The breakfast options were well presented and good quality and the setting was lovely. The bedroom was great in terms of cleanliness and quality of facilities. BUT on one of the hottest days of May with outside temperatures at 35⁰ the hotel had taken central control of the bedroom AC temperatures which they set at an uncomfortable 21⁰. I opened the window but with no breeze from outside, I barely slept. Lack of sleep and heat-related exhaustion affected my participation in the conference on the following day. Colleagues who stayed at a far cheaper local hotel had excellent air conditioning during their stay! Overall, indpite of the positives I wouldn't stay again since a good hotel stay is essentially about having a good night's sleep and being refreshed for the next days activities."
