Pet friendly value for a night or two

This is a good value hotel. I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is a little older hotel near the interstate. That said, the room was large and clean. The shower had olenty of pressure. The bed was a little firmer than I prefer, but my husband and daughter liked it fine. Breakfast was fine. Front desk staff was friendly. Pet friendly. Felt safe. We plan to stay again next year

Dusty here and there. Had some water damage. Sprinklers heads hanging from the ceiling. They don’t put clean sheets. When we were leaving they were supposedly cleaning a room all the did was redid the bed with the used sheets. When she saw us looking she made the ladies stop cleaning till we left.

This is Quality Inn. There were roaches in our room. We just unpacked and there were two of them. Later found another cockroach. They said no refund. They gave us another room. We didn’t have a choice. Who wants to stay someplace where there are cockroaches. We weren’t going to get our money back. Talked to manager she said no refund and was rude. Supposedly owner on vacation. I would never go there again. Didn’t care about your stay. Go anywhere else in Corsicana, Texas. No matter the price go anywhere else.

Disappointment

First, the walls are very thin! I arrived about 12:30am from a long drive and immediately noticed that there were dogs in the next room. Early that morning the owners left their room with their pets unattended and the dogs literally barked all morning until the owners came back to checkout about mid afternoon. It was constant barking without interruption, no exaggeration! I informed the the front desk and all she had to say is that they are checking out today. I’m thinking, that’s great, wow, I feel very lucky. I could not believe that I had to pay for that night, and I am very disappointed about it! Extremely disappointed!
