"We had a wonderful stay at Excellence Suite before our cruise. The location is ideal — within easy walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Barberini, and so many interesting streets, neighborhoods, restaurants, and sights. It was a great base for exploring Rome on foot. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They also arranged our transportation from the airport when we arrived and our transfer to the cruise port in Civitavecchia, which made both ends of our stay incredibly easy. Our room and bathroom were both a very good size, especially considering the age and location of the building. Another big plus is that the building has an elevator — something you definitely can’t take for granted in an older building in the center of Rome, especially when traveling with luggage! The combination of the central location, comfortable accommodations, and genuinely helpful staff made Excellence Suite a great choice for our time in Rome. We would happily stay here again."

We were close to several “attractions” and everything else you could need. The staff was helpful in finding us transportation and booking an excursion when we arrived - in addition to being excellent concierges in general. P.S. loved opening the French windows just like they do in the movies =)"

"Location location location. Directly in front of Molly’s Cafe where you can get great American breakfast, best pancakes in Rome. Wonderful lunch menu also. 2 doors down is a complete supermarket with Everything you need. Piazza Navona and Pantheon and several free entry churches are a short walk away. The street it’s on, governo vecchio is full of wonderful restaurants and cafes with the very best authentic Italian cuisine. The taxi stand is about four blocks away where you can catch a cab anywhere you wanna go including the Colosseum the Spanish steps or anywhere else you want to go in Rome it’s very convenient. Use Freeway app to order taxis. Others try to scam you. They got us once. Passepartout is more of a VRBO as there are no amenities. The rooms are huge with nice bathrooms and are serviced every 3 days depending on length of stay. We lived it. Great air conditioning, and even being directly on the street, very quiet."
