Chalets in Costa Rica

"Beautiful spot and friendly service!"

"Room was big and clean. Staff was excellent. Was so peaceful we enjoyed our stay "

"Wonderful property, private, plenty of room for everyone."

"Beautiful location. Property is gorgeous. The only downfall is there's no insulation in the roof and it's a metal roof. So as a sun heats the metal it pops and makes lots of noise as well as when it cools down at night it contracts and pops and makes lots of noise so it's hard to sleep if you don't have some kind of a background noise like ocean waves or a fan. But it's still definitely worth the stay as it's gorgeous and you can hear howler monkeys."

"Both Owner and local hosts are incredibly helpful and responsive. The property is beautiful. Truly a slice of Heaven. We will definitely be booking again."

"Was the most excellent stay! Absolutely loved it!"

"Fantastic trip fantastic place to stay!"

"El lugar es hermoso, muy tranquilo que es lo que buscaba."

"It was very clean and beautiful. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast items provided. But the main toilet does not work and the maintenance did not fix it. We make do with the 2nd toilet."

"If you are looking for a remote place to get away for a bit this is the place. Very basic, but all you need. Owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet!"

"We loved it there. We had monkeys in our trees the first we arrived. The house is gray and the beach is amazing. Couldn’t have asked for more."

"The house was better then the photos represented. "

"Beautiful, nice and clean set-up. "

"Perfect spot on a quiet beach for a family vacation! Super clean and great location, would definitely stay again!"

"Excellent property, private and exactly as shown in the pictures. A great place in an excellent location!"

"We booked 1 room for 3 people and they charged us for 3 rooms and refused to give us a refund for 2 rooms. Bugs came out of the AC when we turned in on. Breakfast was beans, rice and egg with water down coffee. Not a good experience."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Wonders Chalet and being surrounded by nature and wildlife - but at the same time close enough to everything that we wanted to do in Monteverde. Daniela is a wonderful host and could not have been more helpful before, and during our stay. The house itself has a beautiful wooden interior and all the rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything that we needed. We found the house spotless on arrival and would definitely recommend. Thank you!"

"We loved the cabin."
