We had a beautiful time at the La Mariposa! The hotel is beautiful with orchids by the pool side and an occasional visit from the monkeys. The outdoor dining was fantastic and the drinks and food were incredible as well. It is nice to be so close to dining and shops and be able to walk.

Absolutely the best views in Quepos! Breakfast each morning was delicious. we looked forward to it each day. Eggs made to order, with fresh fruit. The rooms were nice and clean. We had an issue with our warm water in the shower but turns out we were dumb and didn't turn the knob the right way.. duh! The pool area is open and the staff are great. Very attentive and made great drinks. The location of the hotel was perfect! Off the main road so it was quiet.. but close enough to walk to restaurants and stores. I would definitely return and stay for longer. So much to see and do in this country. Well worth the $$!

We had an excellent time since we got to the property. Everybody was extremely friendly. We had an amazing time at their facilities. The pool was awesome. Staff was very attentive. Beers were extremely cold so we had an amazing time. I would highly recommend anybody looking for an amazing view to go and stay at this place. It’s very close to everything. Wonderful views overlooking Manuel Antonio anf the Pacific Ocean. Nice large pool and restaurant that never seemed too crowded despite the high season. Beautiful grounds. The location is near multiple restaurants within an easy walk. There are a couple ofbeaches that one csn walk to but that’s for the adventurers who don’t mind the heat and no sidewalks. There is a free shuttle to a more established beach in town.

The view is absolutely breathtaking—truly beyond words—and offers a panoramic scenery that you simply have to experience at least once in your life. However, the hotel unfortunately fails to match this standard when it comes to service and staff. The facilities are also quite outdated, which makes the nightly rate feel significantly overpriced. In addition, the Wi-Fi was extremely unstable, and the cleanliness of the room did not meet expected standards. On a positive note, both the breakfast and the restaurant were very good.
