Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

"We stayed here for four nights —-booked two rooms for our family. Some of the highlights include: 1) great, fantastic location which is short walking distance to ferry, shops and restaurants. 2) we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and beautiful swimming pool every day. 3) super comfortable beds and well air conditioned rooms. 4) staffs at the breakfast, pool and concierge are super attentive, warm and helpful. The concierge booked a private boat tour for us and provided useful advices on day trips and ferry schedules. The only and the biggest low light was that the casual restaurant (La Goletta) was super disappointing. The food was boring, plain, and poorly prepared . The restaurant waiters were cold and stern. Given the price, the restaurant felt way below our expectation. Recommend to stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere."

"A short but absolutely lovely stay at Filario. Romantic, comfortable, luxurious. You won't want to leave the property for any reason if you're here for only a couple of days. It was at Filario that I was finally able to relax and truly start enjoying my vacation. Pool views and the restaurant were sublime. The gift bag will remind me if Como long after the trip is over. Worth every penny."

"A slice of heaven in Bellagio. We stayed three nights at Hotel Belvedere and will absolutely be back. The property and amenities are fabulous. Originally we planned to be out and about more in Como but the hotel was so great we didn’t want to leave. The pool is perfect for lazy days and the food is exceptional. The concierge was great for arranging private boat trips and drives around the lake. The hotel offers a shuttle so you can enjoy Bellagio without the steps. The rooms are well designed with stunning lake views. I wouldn’t change a thing!"

Winter Garden Hotel - Bergamo Airport

"I was able to check in early, which was a great start. I arrived at Bergamo Airport just after lunch and discovered the shuttle wasn’t running, so I had to take a private taxi. Once I arrived, the hotel made a strong impression — modern, clean, good Wi‑Fi, and genuinely helpful staff. Breakfast was enjoyable and reasonably priced, and the barman was friendly and chatty. As it happened to be the day of the World Cup final, I chose to watch it from the comfort of my room. Negatives: As other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is quite a walk from anything. The spa looked fantastic, but when I went to have a look, it was unmanned, and reception later told me it was closed. It would have been great to try it."

"The location is beautiful and we had a lake view room. Staff was very helpful. Sink drained slow in bathroom. We dealt with it but didn’t report it until our departure. Hotel dining immediately in front of the hotel and overlooking the lake was excellent as was staff. The lift(elevator) broke but they had it fixed within a couple of hours. The shower was small. Overall excellent hotel and would stay there again."
