"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...

"The property and experience were unforgettable. It all started with the most hospitable and helpful host, Emel. He made us feel welcome and even helped us get pizza delivery to the glamping tent.
