"Lovely house, with plenty of room for us and 2 children. Lovely and conveinient location. Straight onto a sandy beach with rockpools. Nice walks along the coast and nearby beaches. Close to Barfleur which has a decent convienience store, and a few bakers and places to eat. The owner was away when we stayed and the house was being looked after by someone else referred to as 'The Maid'. She didn't answer the phone on the day of our arrival, although we were able to get into the property. The...

"Clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the shower was awesome, wonderful water pressure. Unfortunately, they spoke little English, which was not indicated in the listing. You also had to request sheets and towels which were an added cost. The spa is also an extra charge. None of this is stated anywhere that I could find in the listing. The washer worked well but we could not figure out the "dryer" that was listed. There was a drying rack which worked. We arrive late at night,...

"Toller Aufenthalt! Gut und durchdacht ausgestattete Wohnung. Reichlich Platz auch für 6 Personen. Ruhige Lagee nur Kirchturmglocken sind in der Ferne zu hören. 5 min zum Bäcker oder zum lieblichen Hafen von Barfleur mit zahlreichen Restaurants. Guter Ausgangspunkt zu den Stränden des Cotentin oder auch nach Cherbourg. Supermarkt am Ortseingang in ein paar Minuten Fahrt mit dem Auto zu erreichen genau wie der nächstgelegene Badestrand."

"The property was beautiful, in a quiet area and it was peaceful. We were in Normandy for some of the D-Day celebrations and it was exactly what we needed.
