"We had a wonderful 12 day stay! The Meynard family is very helpful and nice, the greeting was warm and friendly, and they were always available for anything we needed. They went above and beyond our expectations. The cottage is absolutely charming and very comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need. The grounds are beautiful, the swimming pool and jacuzzi are great. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and we would gladly return!"

"The host is charming and helpful, the space is great. Its in the owner's garden, but she's very discreet and trees shield the main house and the guest house. Very convenient for several towns, villages, tourist sites, check the location. Very quiet village area, just one bar restaurant and a pizza take away. Beautiful quiet stay. "We had a lovely holiday here. Chris and Alix were very friendly and respectful hosts. The property is very well appointed with both a pool and a hot tub to enjoy. The bed in particular was great, excellent mattress! Kitchen is well stocked and the shower is superb. Would definitely return."

"Lovely gite in a lovely area. We particularly enjoyed going to the port to read in the shade and enjoy a drink in the bar/restaurants. Plenty to do and see in the local area with La Rochelle and Bordeaux within 90 minutes to go further afield. Jo was very welcoming and helpful, being only 20 minutes away if needed"

"Lovely three bedroomed gite in a small hamlet. Catherine and her husband were wonderful hosts and were very attentive without being intrusive. Fantastic L shaped pool, immaculate and clean. Gite Wass fully equipped and we highly recommend it, especially if you want the peace and quiet of the countryside."

"Small room but adequate for two. A table that folder up against the wall in the corner of the room would have been better as unable to get round the bed. Not being a couple, a privacy curtain or screen to the shower would have been good. Not much room to enter the toilet room. "
