"Exterior of property was not very inviting, interior was very tired, carpets and furniture very worn, some bathrooms unusable so we had to share. Overall the property was very disappointing which overshadowed a family weekend together"

"We booked the Tallat as a getaway for ourselves and our grandaughter. We were very impressed by the peaceful and quiet location by a little pond and stream with the church in view from the front door. The location makes it easy by car to visit nearby Burford, and Blenheim palace about 30 minutes away. We also visited Stow which is also easily accessible. The Tallat is a lovely spacious barn conversion with all mod cons. It is very tastfully decorated and furnished, and was very clean and tidy."

"Wasn’t a hotel room was like a cheap motel out side shed , poorly maintained, bathroom was fitted by a blind man , no restaurant although advertised, feel really misled by the advert on here , "

"We stayed at green farm to celebrate my 70th birthday travelling from various parts of the UK and USA. The house is beautiful with decor in keeping with the character of the house. The beds were very comfortable with good quality bedding and soft fluffy towels. The kitchen is well equipped and we managed to Russell up meals for 11 of us easily. Evenings sat around the log fire playing games or chatting were very relaxed. We particularly loved the outside space having an enclosed garden for the dog and a toddler helped. The hot tub was brilliant even in February. We would love to stay again perhaps in autumn when water levels may be lower so we can enjoy the local walks and make use of the outdoor kitchen and relax in the garden. The house is located within easy reach of places of interest for those wanting to explore the area. We would highly recommend Green Farm"

"The dinner we had in the restaurant was really delicious. The breakfast was disappointing, cooked breakfast nice but no fresh fruit, no yoghurt no cereal, no croissants. The room was good, comfortable bed, however the unusual arrangement of corridors and bathrooms with creaking floors made it feel as if someone was walking in our room. A bit strange."

"Staff were incredible and helpful for all our requests including local landmarks, the room was very clean. My only feedback would be there there seemed to be a certain ventilator fan hum throughout the night ; we got used to that but the establishment might want to check that - Thanks for a lovely stay!"
