"Property was ideal size and location was good. Under the impression i was able to park in the land next to the property but was told off by another resident. Was advised by owner there is on road parking- should have read this properly! Apartment smelt of cigarettes and cannot take smell out from clothes. Shower had mould around grouting of tiles and needs bringing up-to date. Mattress - springs broken and had a dip did not sleep much. Extractor needs a good clean can see grease on top. Need...

"Liked the ease and location of the property. It was great place to put our heads down for our visit to family who live locally. I would probably use this place again in the future. Two minor things I would change if it was my property. Better curtains or curtains over the blinds for the bedroom. ( the Venetians let in quite a lot of light for a bedroom) The other thing is the bed in the bedroom is comfortable but is very creaky. "Loved our little place in Grantchester- it was so quaint and had everything we needed. Grantchester is a lovely little village. Parking was available just outside, the unit was clean and it was the perfect size for us. The place is decorated with the host's artwork which is lovely. Our hosts, Tess and her husband, lived next door and were always available (but we had no problems). The location is quiet and an easy drive to Cambridge. "We booked a secret wedding in London and needed a place in the middle for our families to meet up. It catered for all of us! We had 2 children under 3, and 14 adults but it didn't seem cramped. Everybody was comfortable and content. Antoine was super responsive, and so was the young man who checked us in (I can't remember his name unfortunately!). "This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Little Barn. For ourselves this is a great place for the few night stays, to visit our daughter and partner in Cambridge. Verity is a great host, the fridge has all the essential items, plus some thought-out extras. All round excellent stay."

"The property is in need of decoration, and maybe a new front door ? For the price, we expected a lot better. Don’t like the idea of a security camera pointing right at you in the back garden (and I don’t believe it has anything to do with security) Paying a fee for a deep clean ? "It is a good place for a short stay. It seems some rooms are tiny. I got a small room which is only enough to put a double bed. My advice is to confirm the room size before you book. "

"We loved the house which had a very well equipped kitchen and we really appreciated a kitchen which had everything a family needed. The shower was great too. Chris and Helen were very responsive and gave us many handy tips. Genuinely kind helpful people."

"The house was very nice. It was close to the train station about a 5 minute walk. It was a little further than what I expected outside of London but we took the train or an uber in and out of the city when needed. There were some great restaurants and bars at the end of the street as well as grocery stores. The host was very responsive, we had a wifi issue when we first arrived and they sent someone out right away to fix the router."
