"While the house itself is one of the most beautiful stately homes in the UK, it was the staff at Rushton Hall that made my stay so special. I was actually there for two days of concentrated work and writing, away from distractions. Special shout out to Christine and Ruby and their superb customer service!"
The Barn Hotel & Spa

"I booked this hotel as a treat for my grand daughters 16th birthday to include a treatment and use of the spa. It is well located just off the A1 down a country lane with lovely views over the countryside. It is nicely decorated inside with modern decor, however our room was slightly well worn with a worn carpet and holes in the curtain but it was lovely and clean and well located on the ground floor. The hotel wasn't busy when we got there and we had lunch which was Ok ( a bit expensive) but they accommodated my grand daughters request for a chip sandwich Breakfast was buffet style with hot food, toast, cereals yoghurt etc so good choice. Our therapist who did our massage was lovely and the spa facilities were great for what we wanted, large swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Although we got caught up in massive traffic jam due to a fatal accident on the A1 all in all we were really pleased with our stay for the money we paid. I will definitely want to look at going again for a small short spa stay."

"Parking was easy, free 24hrs, great location, great spacious bedroom, with kettle, TV. Ironing board. Nice bedroom view. Very quiet and excellent blackout curtains comfortable bed. We both had a good nights sleep. We would good back and recommend this hotel"

"Lovely and clean plus there was an iron and ironing board in the room, the markdown is due to no usb port in the room. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful when I requested my fried egg to be flipped ( can't stand raw white)"

"Nice clean room. Really nice helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Only reason it wasnt 5 out of 5 is we were not in the main building and touch expensive ….. but maybe that’s just Stamford prices."

"This was a 1-night stay for work. I would not normally stay in hotels at service areas, but this has pleasantly surprised me. The room (139) was on the ground floor and was spacious. Shower and toilet were separate from the basin, which did not bother me. TV and WiFi was good. Bed was comfortable, pillows could have been firmer (personal choice). Shower was okay. There was a large desk area to work at. Value wise it was great for the money. As it was in the service area there were a large number of choices of places to eat at, as well as food being served in the hotel."
