Old towels, bedding didn’t smell clean, untidy bathroom. We stayed the night as a last resort and got out of there early in the morning. Went to Carcassonne a castle that was unexpectedly large and beautiful. "

"Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Had some trouble with the hot water to wash basin & sink but managed ! The apartment was a little gloomy but the weather was bad when we went which didn’t help. It’s a basement conversion so the approach to the entrance was not very attractive with very high walls. Great value for money though & excellent location for the town & medieval city."

"This could have been a very good stay but there were several things which were annoying as follows: Uncomfortable furniture (metal dining chairs, sofa that sags, double bed makes noises from plastic mattress cover) Bathroom – no floor mat, no hand towels Kitchen – no tea towel, one champagne glass, no wine glasses (in France!) Bedroom – no air conditioning (the temperature was in the high 30’s several days) Pool area – no outdoor furniture so nowhere to sit after a swim Instructions for access...

"Great property for city centre. Lots of parking nearby. Lots of space and good facilities such as washing machine and coffee pod machine. "

"This is a nicely appointed little apartment with great amenities and very easy access to the medieval city of Carcassone. It does have a moisture problem which is a concern if you have respiratory issues. We enjoyed the access to the old city and the easy access to many dining options, but would be hesitant to return because of the moisture issues."

"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
