"Great location to visit walled city. Easy walk with lots of restaurants along the way. A bit hidden to get to. Make sure you get email with entrance codes. Parking is not on premise. We were there on Saturday afternoon and Sunday night so we parked on the streets near by. Still a bit of a walk. The rooms were great. Pretty much self service, but the manager was quick to response by What’s Ap. Price for room definitely a bargain. Breakfast was adequate. Vey clean though. "

"Pictures of this place do not tell how great and beautiful this place is. This was the best place I’ve ever been in my life. Maybe I’ve been staying in more upscale or fancier hotels but everything was just right here. Very clean, beautiful, tranquil and vibe was just great. Breakfast was made just for me and cheeses were great. Valérie was just fabulous host :)"

"The house is well-decorated, very clean, and home-like. The bathroom was clean (the small bathroom was separate from the shower and washing room) and I loved the airy feel of the hardwood floors. The dining room where we brunch was also welcoming. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They offered us a discount for tickets to see the castle. The breakfast served at the bed and breakfast daily is excellent and seems to consist of delicious homemade bread and other baked goods, a small tasty...

"The owner Chris was keen to welcome us along with his lovely 2 lab retrievers. Chris is full of local and world knowledge. The bed and bedding were by far the most comfortable I experienced in Europe so far. I wish I could have stayed longer! "

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour, à 15 mn en voiture de la cité médiévale, on se retrouve dans un lieu calme avec piscine qui est très agréable après des journées chaudes de visites! Nous n’avons pas utilisé la cuisine d’été mis à part le frigo pour les boissons fraîches donc je ne saurai donner mon avis sur l’utilisation. "A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
