"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"Gite d'été uniquement car pas du tout adapté pour la moyenne saison,chauffage grille pain,energivore et peu efficace car manque d'isolation. Pas d'espace intérieur pour la détente, hall d'entrée servant de salon ,pas de fauteuil, un clic clac servant de banquette et une cheminée décorative qui mériterait d'être remise en service. Sinon l'environnement naturel reste charmant."

Petit point ce pendant à améliorer ,des portes manteau dans la salle de bain seraient les bienvenus et la cour extérieur aurait mérité un bon coup de débroussaillage .Pas non plus de séchoir à linge portable dans la maison. "Le gite pour 10 personnes est à l'étage (d'un autre gîte plus grand), on ne peut donc accéder directement à l'espace vert au tables pique nique etc..., il faut descendre deux escaliers et contourner l'ensemble du bâtiment. L'accès à la salle de jeux (baby foot) n'est pas possible pour la location familiale à 9-10 personnes.
