About this property

Welcome to "La Ferme des Tilleuls"

  • On our beautiful Opal Coast, in the heart of the Boulonnais bocage, we will welcome you in the house of the family farm, longère style, 20 kms from the sea and the beach, 3 kms from Desvres, Pays de la Faïence, where you will find all shops, pharmacies, restaurants but also swimming pool, cinema, museum, forests, ponds and the traditional weekly market…. The cottage is located in a very quiet hamlet where you can take advantage of marked walking trails, but also farm animals.
    The house has been renovated and separated into 2 parts, the gîte and the other independent part, reserved for the owners. Access to the cottage is through an enclosed courtyard, the interior of the typical house with its half-timbering, consists of a living room (convertible 2 people and a small bed for children 135 x 80), a living room (the living room and the living room are separated by a curtain if the living room is used as a convertible), a fully equipped kitchen (sink, dishwasher, oven, microwave, hob, extractor and American fridge) , dishes, dishes for the oven, frying pans, pots, Dutch oven, toaster, electric coffee maker ....), a bathroom with sink, walk-in shower, washing machine, clothes dryer, table iron, iron, hairdryer, bedroom (140 x 190 bed) with 3-door wardrobe and mirror, separate toilet and veranda with a small lounge. You will also have a flat screen TV and internet access and on request elliptical trainer, cot and high chair. In winter, the house is heated by a pellet stove.
    Behind the house you will have access by the veranda to the lawn corner of the garden where you can relax or eat (garden furniture, barbecue). The vegetable garden is reserved for the owner, who will not fail to make you taste his products over the seasons.
    Our main house being 1.5 km from the gîte and therefore from the farm, still in operation, we will be pleased to welcome you on your arrival and to accompany you on your departure but we will also be called upon to meet during your stay, while remaining very discreet but available!

Perfect place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay here, we had everything we needed. We met both Carine and her son in law, both very warm and welcoming, and quick to respond to messages when we needed some assistance. The children loved the animals, all close to the house The children really enjoyed helping to feed them! Thank you Carine for having us in your lovely home!

Cute and cosy farm gite

We very much enjoyed this cute farm stay. We stayed over new year and the property had a lovely wood pellet stove, was cosy and well equipped and the Xmas tree was a lovely touch! Carine was very friendly and efficient, and we loved being able to walk around the farm animals and the countryside. The option to have a cat at all times during our stay was also adorable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay far from people!

We stayed with Carine in their beautiful gite injune 2022. It was so perfect then that we promised ourselves to return. We returned in May 2025,and it's still as beautiful and perfect as we remembered. The hosts are amazing, nothing is ever an issue for them, as they catered for everything we needed. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön! Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett. Alles gut. Gerne wieder :) Es sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass keine Handtücher da sind. Diese können aber gegen Aufpreis zur Verfügung gestellt werden :)

Nous avons fait un sejour à la ferme des tilleuls du 16 au 20 avril 2025.excellent séjour en famille dans une campagne tres soignée et agréable qu'est le Boulonnais. Très bon accueil par Carine qui s'est montrée toujours a l'ecoute de mes questions et demandes .la ferme est tres bien equipée et j'ai apprecié d'avoir accès au jardin et d'être en retrait de la route : quelle quietude! Nous sommes à 10mn environ de commerces de proximité.C'est un logement que je recommande pour 5 adultes. Merci bcp a Carine pour sa disponibilite

nous avons passé 6 jours merveilleux !!!! Nous étions 3, mon épouse, ma petite fille de 2 ans et demi et moi. Nous avons pu profiter de l'hospitalité à La Ferme des Tilleuls pendant une semaine. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis et avons reçu d'excellents conseils d'excursions et même des friandises de notre propre jardin et de nos poules. La maison est meublée de manière optimale et avec beaucoup d'amour, et également très confortable. Les nombreux animaux qui se trouvent devant et derrière la maison, ainsi que le magnifique jardin qui vous invite à la détente, constituent certainement un point fort particulier. Nous avons apprécié chaque minute passée là-bas et nous aimerions certainement revenir !

Lovely Christmas getaway, less than 2 hours from the ferry ports

Charming gite, all on one floor, spacious and spotless. Felt at home right away. Delightful little cat came to welcome us as soon as we arrived and visited regularly! Heating could be easier to operate but not a problem. The junction to the road was a bit tight and needed caution. Desvres is a no-frills but well appointed town with at least 4 supermarkets and several butchers and bakers. Boulogne is about 30 mins away - we visited Nausicaa aquarium, which was amazing. Arras is just over an hour away with fabulous Christmas markets and the poignant Wellington Tunnels. There is also Europe's largest outdoor dry ski slope at Noeux-Les-Mines, about an hour away. Great fun!

La petite maison dans la ferme

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans cette petite maison en famille, elle est bien équipée, tout y est. Elle est bien située, proche des commerces, de la mer et de points de visites sympas. Elle est entourée d'animaux bien apprécié par les enfants (et les adultes ;-) ). Les propriétaires sont charmants, très gentils et disponibles.

Better than we had hoped for

the cottage and our host were just wonderful. we have previously stayed in French cottages and expected a "moderate standard". This one was different - it really was excelelent and our host had gone to grat lengths to ensure that we were comforatable. it is located in a farm setting in a rural environment with an excellent walking trail passing the door. Everyone we met wanted to be friendly

Découverte de la côte d'Opale

Propriété très bien située pour quelqu'un qui désire découvrir la côte de Berck à Calais. La maison correspond parfaitement aux photos que l'on trouve sur le site, elle est agréable à vivre, bien agencée, bien équipée et très propre. Cerise sur le gâteau, le contact avec les propriétaires est très agréable !

Nous avons passé un super week-end dans une belle fermette à Courset. Tout est nickel, il ne manque rien, c'est propre, neuf, bonne literie, bons conseils sur les lieux à visiter, les produits du terroir. Il y'a de belles ballades à faire tout près de la fermette, belles régions, on est pas loin de la côte. On a pu caresser l'âne, donner à manger aux poules, coqs et oies. 2 chats venaient nous rendre visite. A refaire avec un meilleurs temps.Delphine et Pascal

La location est géniale ! L’intérieur est conviviale et aménagé avec goût. On est au calme. Les propriétaires Karine et Éric, ainsi que leur gendre sont très sympathiques, accueillants, chaleureux et ont pu nous donner plusieurs indications sur les lieux à voir. Nous avons découvert une Région magnifique avec des paysages à nous couper le souffle ! Des habitants et commerçants réceptifs et serviables.
