The area is sketchy, be careful during hours of darkness, be sensible; subway less than ten minutes walk away. Travel into Manhattan very easy."

"I’ve always loved this hotel and have stayed multiple times. It’s in an awesome area of the city, close enough to everything but not in the center of the chaos. However, this last experience, we were placed next to the housekeeping service elevator and we did not sleep the entire night. We could hear every time the doors opened, closed and whenever the elevator moved. I ended up asking for a room change and it was much better but truthfully the room we were in should not be an option for guests. It was really really loud through the entire night. "
