"This hotel was close to everything and being part of Grand Central Station, it was easy to get around. The breakfast was way overpriced at 45/per person."

"I purchased two bed with balcony, and when I arrive to the location, I learned that the room that I had selected and paid for was not available. It was under construction, and one of them had HVAC. They also did not have Wi-Fi for the full-time that I was there which I was coming there to spend my son‘s 21st birthday. He is a college student and he did have a paper due unfortunately we had to go to walk to coffee shops in order to use Wi-Fi and had no access to television for the entire weekend. I have reached out to the property as well as hotel.com and have not received any accommodation nor refund which I was told when I arrive that I will be getting a refund I have not received any of that. I’m very upset about my experience. The property looks very nice. Look like it could’ve been a very nice experience, but unfortunately it wasn’t and due to the customer service that I received I would not be ever booking a room here again."

"Pay attention to what you’re charged! I loved the hotel experience itself. The facilities were beautiful, the room was comfortable and extremely clean, and the staff were wonderful. I can't give a full 5-star review because I was charged for a bottle of wine that I neither asked for, received, nor charged to the room. I discovered this after leaving - we were late for our flight and had to rush - and I called within a few hours to dispute the charge, leaving a message. I subsequently called again and sent two email messages to accounts receivable - and as of today, six weeks later, I have not received a single response. I'm quite disappointed, as every other part of the experience was wonderful. But I do think the property owes their guests the decency of a response to billing inquiries. "

"First time guest. Was there for work, then shifted to vacation mode. Was told that the lobby area was recently renovated and it was a good collaborative space. The stay as a whole was average. Front desk staff was polite. A lot of attitude from others. Beds in the standard double bed room were too small for a couple to share. Mattress was decent. Pillows were too soft. Cleanliness of rooms could be vastly better. Found prior guests' clothes behind one of the beds. Bathrooms and tub are super small. Elevators were being worked on, so they felt sketchy. Restaurant food was not good. Used the "nightly $35 credit" once. Water bottle vouchers came in handy. A bunch of broken equipment in fitness area. I got upsold at check-in for a room on a higher floor an extra $35/night. Booked on Expedia. Good location. Walking distance to Central Park & Times Square. Other landmarks are short train/bus rides. Looking back, I should have switched hotels. "
