"If you're looking for a cheap and not-so-cheerful hotel this would be a good bet. There was nothing special about the place, other than perhaps it being a time warp back to when it was built. The room was adequate, the TV was internet capable, but not connected to the internet. The staff interacted with no more than a "Can I have your ID?", "Here's your key." and "There's your breakfast buffet". Breakfast was overpriced on Expedia, it would have been 50% cheaper if bought at the hotel."

"I assumed I would be staying in a hotel reflective of the pictures shared, however our actual accommodation was in some of the side rooms, in a building that was definitely worse-for-wear. Most of the services that we had expected to be part of the amenities came with an extra charge - from using the gym and pool, to changing rooms because our fan was broken in the middle of a heatwave (they ended up giving us another fan for free).
