"I had to change the room as there was plenty of hair on the mattress cover. Overall cleanliness is questionable from dirty and smeared windows to dusty telephones. Spa is beyond average with rusty lockers and steam room that hardly produces any steam. The biggest perk of this hotel is the location, otherwise its seen better days."

"We only stayed one night so can’t comment on Spa etc. We had a warm reception upon arrival, given our room card and directed to the room. Our first impression was how warm the room was but looked nice. On closer inspection we found bin had not been emptied from previous guest, first score down! We then went into bathroom to find a filthy toilet base, it was terrible! second strike! My husband went to wash his hand and the sink didn’t empty properly, third strike 😔. No shampoo which is very surprising for a four star hotel. We had body wash and soap, both looked the same. TV was poor couldn’t watch BBC1 or 2. Didn’t look like it had been hovered either. If we were spending more time there we would have asked for another room. "

"Room was ok, the overwhelming smell from the staff member smoking weed in the underground car park was not the best first impression. The smell lingered in the lift shaft for some time. Heating in room does not work so had some random heater splattered about the place. Room Was ok"
