"The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel."

"Difficult review. On the one hand, perfect location, great view, good bed, very helpful staff and nice food. On the other hand, the room was very uncomfortable. Unbearably hot with windows that only open a crack. Very low sloped ceilings in about half the room (which was already tiny). Okay if you're under 5 foot five. "Situated in the heart of Cowes right on the High Street. We stayed here one night to attend a family party. It was perfect for 1 night, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Anchor is a lively, popular pub serving local beers and weekly live music. The room had some ear plugs provided but we didn't need them, a nice thought though."

"What a lovely stay run by a lovely couple. A quirky friendly B&B within easy walking distance of town ( a little up hill on the way back) Beautiful garden full of interest. A perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning made using good quality produce. Along with cereals, yogurts and juice. Homely and clean. You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through. They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs....
